There is NO such thing as full coverage shorts for my butt. I wear yoga shorts. They always end up creeping up my butt.

All my favorite teachers teach in tiny shorts, bikini tops, or panties and bra’s. Alethea, Cleo, Michelle Mynx to name a few.

your sort of comparing apples and oranges. Jamilla’s are mostly spins and tricks. Alethea’s are either focused on splits, stretching, or floorwork. I have Jamilla’s and Alethea’s and I love them both for different reasons.

I find 40’s painful, but I have large hands so I cut my fingers with my nails on a 40. But I did that when I first got my 45 too. My fingers touch around a 50.

Because of teaching so many hours every day I pretty much stopped wearing mine. I told hubby for my b’day I want a heavy gold chain, choker length to put them on so I can wear them all the time again.

Never saw this post originally, yes I have one. I got it at midwest over a year ago and I love it, and wish I had more time to do things with it. When I went to Alethea's first pole camp I took a lesson there and was shown so many awesome stretches.

WTH??? Not sure where my post went lol

I do protein shakes. Sometimes on the way to the studio, sometimes after coming home. Mine is mostly to make up for my whacky schedule and eating habits. Its actually a fairly new thing for me, mostly because of my whack schedule. I'd much rather down a protein shake at 10pm after teaching then eat a heavy meal. I use Arbonne's powders or premixed. One of the few I have found that I can deal with the taste and isn't full of a ton of whacky crap. Its Pea protein, my body doesn't like whey, and soy is not something I can have because of my Thyroid.

And I just have to say this because its a pet peeve of mine. Someone said muscle weighs more then fat. No it does not. A pound of muscle and a pound of fat weigh just that, a pound. However a pound of muscle is denser and more compact so a pound of muscle takes up less space then a pound of fat. So you might not be losing fat but as you gain muscle you will lose inches.

for freestyle I look for song that just makes me want to move. If I'm going to Choreo (which is very rare) I look for songs that seem to suit moves I want to showcase. I'm much more a freestyler then a choreo girl

oh I have dry skin AND I don't sweat hardly ever. It has to be really really hot for me to sweat in the body and even hotter for my hands to sweat. All these years of poling, I think I have sweat while poling a half a dozen times.

hand size does make a huge difference. I have recently aquired a 45mm and have cut my own fingers with my fingernails because I'm not used to my fingers overlapping my pole. Touching around the 50 yes, but not overlapping. I wish it were easier to grip the 45 with my legs though, because for teaching for hours on end, my shoulders are loving the 45. My thighs hate it.

Iron x. V leg teddy (I love one arm hold variations just not the actual "teddy" do it with pinup legs or piked legs love it), janero, flag.

I love the back hook nothing like flying it down to the ground ending up totally flat with legs bent back then bringing legs out from under you to bridge grind.
