Just to add it really is possible I was 30cm off the ground but now I’ve got it. I never did the splits as a child either. It took 6 months but I wasn’t so great at doing it every day and I only stretched once or twice a week. Good luck.

Goodluck I think you’ve given me the confidence to give that a go too. Cxxx

Well done I found this a tough one too it took me weeks to get!

Stretching in front of the TV sounds soooo familiar I don’t think about it I just seem to end up doing stretches to try and get the splits. My brain does just wander off into thoughts of pole dancing if I’m not careful. I think I’m an addict! Cxxx

Yogabeachbabe you gave such good advice I’m guilty of jumping into an invert but thought I’d try your method expecting it to be ridiculously hard but low and behold I don’t need to jump! I can just roll straight up the pole with relative ease it’s much easier than jumping and I’m guessing it looks better too. I always jumped just because I didn’t believe I could do it any other way. Thanks for making me stop and think and try to do it properly. Cxxx

Thanks ladies I’m now trying to hold it for a bit longer but it’s hard work. Cxxx

I just use any household surface cleaner I can find at the time and that works great. Have fun with your new pole. Cxxx

It’s fab you have a pole I just wanted to add I have a square of lino on my garage floor around my pole and it’s worked out just fine. You just have to remember to take some cushions out there as a crash mat if you’re trying something new and scary coz a concrete floor is not forgiving. Cxxx

Well done once you get comfy inverting the real fun starts and you can start trying some of the harder moves. Keep up the good work! Cxxx

Wow. That’s amazing I wish I were that bendy. I’m still working on the splits and that’s hard. Keep up the good work.

Well done it’s a tough one to get. I can do a shoulder mount but only sometimes I’m working for consistency now. I’m still having to fling my legs up too to get up there hopefully one day I’ll do it with a bit more grace.
