I have found a trend with some of the great "Pole" is that they have found their own style. i did a workshop with Natasa Wang and everyone wanted her to teach us the Allegra..And she said..oh..I dont really do that, my back is not very flexible..so she showed us her variation. It was beautifull..but not an allegra by definition. I think what makes some of her movement so amazing is that she does some unique things with her hands and feet that goes with the music and the emotion of the story she trying to tell.
Polergirl…
I've watched your videos. They are lovely, you have a flow and grace, mixed in with class and a little spice. I couldnt remember "what" you did..but I remember how I felt watching you dance and sharing a part of your self.

Ohh all my little lovelys'..Pole is not how you look. It is how you express. Just get back to basics. close your eyes and FEEL the movement.
Would you judge your fellow poler for putting there heart and sole into a performance, no matter what level…I think not! Remember, it is all relative! Everyday has something different to offer. Meet those days that are hard and ask yourself..Why is it so hard today? Am I tired? have I nurtured myself enough. Find the beauty of THAT moment. When you cant do what you thought you should be able to do, it is time to do what you can…or maybe it is time to discover something has been there that you didnt know. Frustration is a GOOD thing. It drives us, it's goal in not nescessarily to be "better." but to grow.
When I was young I was teased horribly about my very musclar legs. The girls thought it was gross….literlly…I would avoid wearing shorts in public..and rarely at that. But now…I only get compliments on them.
Often times what we think our worst asset is, is our gift.
so..please "go on"..I dont want to miss your next video:)

Is it the same reason you continued? It started out as a joke to rule it out as a addition to my business, but I soon realized that it's the real deal as a fitness activity and not people "playing stripper." I keep with it, because
I'm actually not very good at it,
I'm a super slow learner,
it is very very challenging for me, and reminds me of when I was a gymnast
PS. I like doing new things that challenge me, but Pole is very frustrating for me and it seems like it should be easier..but it's not for me.

before my colonic they had me eat a special diet a few days before and after to help alkaline the body.. Vegies and a little bit of avocado.

Keep recording yourself..In every video you will find a little bit of greatness there that you would not have know. Pole isn't about how you look…It's about how you express. Everyone is beautiful when they are able to express a feeling or tell a story with their movement. You will "learn" faster if you video your self too. Love the skin you are in and it will love you back. Your body works so hard for you, cherish and nurture it. Weight, shape, skin texture, and age is always changing….but our essence is what makes us beautiful.

in the colonics defense…even though I would never do it again..It probably wont hurt you.

I actually broke my ribs with improper form…i wasnt facing my pole enough when doing basic inverts..so when I inverted I was inverting with a lot of pressure on my sides and back ribs. I sealed the deal by pushing myself too hard and trying to do tricks I wasnt ready for..Like Allegra and jade. If it hurts..STOP..that's your body saying you need to rest that area. Take a couple steps back to some more basic moves to improve form, before you actually hurt your self. I had to take many months off of the Pole, because ribs are very hard to heal. I know Veena has some great preps and strenghtening moves..I would review those.

Dont do it..I did it once. Thought i was going to lose all kinds of built up waste…FELT LIKE CRAP AFTERWARDS. I did not lose an ounce and had the worse gassy. bloated belly for days afterward. That's a one way street. Use some herbs to stimulate colon a little (dont go crazy) drink warm water and lemon juice, stay away from Gluten for a couple days. Give it a couple days and you should feel a difference. I love probiotics too..( turbo yogurt..make syour tummy feel great)

there is only about a week out of the year I dont slide….I use pole phyiscs on my legs every night now. Love it.. I still need a little on occassion with that too. I think some people are blessed with moist skin and they could spray tan and not have problem.

spray tans will dry your skin out, so just make sure your skin is kept moist. Pole physics has a lotion that has a self tanner in it. Its a gradual tanner and looks great. Use it for a few nights and the night before you pole and your skin will have a nice glow and good stick. (if you use too much your skin cant absorb it and you might slip a little…)

Do you have tight hamstrings?

@Paulette…sister! where do you find a cute pole top that fits? They never fit my rib cage (too big) and the "bottom" of the top always ends up across the middle of my boob..nice look if I was trying out for the dukes of hazard. We should design a top that fits girls with small ribacages! Hope you aerial biz is taking off.
Okay back on topic. Not everyone is going to have problems with their implants…but I have seen a lot people with the encapsulation problem (scaring) and a lot of people who have had problems or pain with them..most implants will wear out, or like mine now need to be refreshed again. Your body changes as you age. I find the only problems with pole is the fact that they get in my way. Forarm grip….. is pushing you on your boob or its on one side of the pole or the other.. Some spins. ouch.. can you say pinch and role..or its hard to find the right amount of coverage without compromising grip.
