I can’t believe this! I’m absolutely speechless. I think it’s extremely inappropriate of M&M
s to judge and jump to conclusions. What hypocrites. -
Muscle weighs more than fat and if you are teaching and working out 5 or more times a week, I say it’s easily muscle. That’s why you still fit in your clothing and people are commenting on how you look thinner. It’s definitely muscle so don’t worry about what the scale says https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

I’m in Pueblo West. If anyone else is interested we can try to find something in the middle, distance wise. If not, I don’t mind traveling.

MemberJanuary 27, 2010 at 12:32 am in reply to: gyno called me to come in for a biopsy 🙁I’m so sorry you have to go through this Glitter! It’s NOT fun…. I know all to well what you are going through. I was told I had HPV 3 years ago https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif ?? Mine was also the worse you could get, which could cause cervical cancer. I had the colposcopy done and it came back with irregular cells also. I ended up going to another doctor because I didn’t want to have the surgery done. He did another pap and it came back normal. Since then I was going every 3 months for paps and they’ve all come back normal. I often wonder if I was misdiagnosed or if it went into remission… because I’ve heard you never get rid of it. Anyway, that’s not the point. I know how scary it is because of one "mistake" you made and you have to live with it the rest of your life.
Every time I go for my yearly I’m TERRIFIED to get that "call" telling me something is wrong. I remember being concerned about whether or not I’d be able to have kids if I did the procedures. Just do what you need to do to fight and keep yourself healthy. Whatever happens in the future will happen. Many women still go on to carry full-term babies. Good Luck and keep us updated! -

MemberDecember 23, 2009 at 4:01 am in reply to: New to pole dancing and need encouragement! No pain, no gain. Unfortunately the pain is very much a part of pole dancing. Instead of being down about it try to be proud of it! If you are experiencing too much pain you might want to start slower. Everyone has their starting point and as long as you keep it up and do your best you will progress!! Don’t get down on yourself, especially after your first experience with the pole. Everything takes practice https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif . It will come.

I didn’t know there was anyone else from Colorado on here! YAY https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif . I’m not in Denver, I’m in Pueblo West. I heard of that TranZen studio and looked into getting some info on that, which I never got https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif ….. Anyway. I’d totally go up to Denver to pole with some of you! That’s awesome, I swear nobody poles in Pueblo.

OMG https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif TWINS!!!! That’s incredible, congrats!! I watched your preggers vid the other day and it was absolutely beautiful! Pregnancy looks fantastic on you https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif. I have 2 little boys and hubby and I are wanting one more but it’s been hard for me to get to that point again of wanting to go through it all again. I feel really sick throughout my ENTIRE pregnancy and (maybe this is selfish) but I don’t want to go through all the body changes again! LOL Anyway, this is very good info for when/if we decide to make a go of it again.

Love the post and article. You know what, I just gave this exact advice to a friend of mine who was saying she was going on a diet and her husband got pissed off at me and started criticizing me about my pole dancing. Anyway it’s refreshing to see this because I was beginning to think I said something wrong. Good advice!
