Hey Ladies,
You can keep visiting the website for details and join the FB page as well but as far as registering for the competition goes, you do have to submit a video. You're not required to do spin and static in your subsmission video, but you should really focus on showcasing your strengths.
They're looking for flexibility, strength, tricks and overall performance teqnique. I used to really focus on my tricks, as most of you know, but learning to focus on captivating the audience and developing a personal style is what has made such a huge difference in my performances….and having fun!
So, with that being said, when making your submission video try to focus on your personal style and what unique aspects you'd bring to the competition as opposed to doing trick after trick 🙂
And yes, it will be hosted in Toronto, Ontario this year!

I am a 27 year old from Stoney Creek, Ontario and I am addicted to pole dancing. I started about 1.5 years ago with Aradia Fitness in Hamilton. I got up to level 3 but I quit taking lessons because there was no one to teach level 4 so I couldn’t move on with them. However, I managed to teach myself many inverted tricks on my own. I mainly learned from watching videos on YouTube. I have the Xpole in my house!
I really want to get back into lessons but I am not sure where to go. I am interested in your studio and would like to check it out some time. And it’s perfect that your studio is literally in walking distance from me.

I’m hoping to attend this pole jam as I need all the practice I can get before taking the stage at Miss Pole Dance Canada in Vancouver!
Due to the fact that I’ll be away on September 12, Joni and I have arranged for September 26 instead from 3-6.

I’m planning on attending and will be bringing date balls (they sound gross but are wonderful) and a gluten free dish. Maybe a gluten free pizza or 2?
Is there anyone else with any food allergies, I can cook just about anything without nuts, dairy, soy and gluten due to my celiac disease. I’m willing to cater to anyone’s needs so please feel free to let me know.

If I could get away with it I would! Any privates offered on Friday morning….or is she even in town then? So, so disappointed.
Unfortunately Karol won’t be in town until late Friday so we’re going to let her rest as she’ll be plenty busy on Saturday.

Hi Kalli, There are definitely polers coming who can do the TG mount and can help you. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif Elisabeth is amazing at it and can give you some pointers as well as any of the guys or Phoenyx’s crew. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif I’m working on this move currently. I have the basic fundamental and mechanics of this move but can’t quite execute it yet. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mad.gif It is absolutely OK to bring other polers with you. The more the merrier.
Unfortunately, I don’t think any of my girls are going to be able to make it out for this one and I’m going to be performing that day, our last show of 16! Elisabeth is wonderful though and will be able to help you with any tips that you need.
We’re set to open the new studio on June 18!
