just keep practicing your pole sit, and look up pole exercises to strenghen on youtube. i am completely self taught and i remember how bad the pole sit hurt at first, i thought there is no way im going to b able to do all those othet holds this hurts!!! lol but i didnt give up the more i did it the more comfortable it became as with all moves u learn. i wud advise veena lessons or a studio to learn, i just dont hve the extra money for veena lessons and there r no studios close to me, youtube helps alot! plus practice practice practice!! 🙂

i wud go with a spinner/static so u can do both! platinumstages.com, lilmynx.com and xpole.com all have great poles and all different jus depends what u prefer!

i second that, corn huskers works for dry skin and hands if thats ur issue

as recommended by sensual and chem i use the corn huskers becAuse my hands r dry in the winter, it works!

these r all great tips! this is why i ordered a powder coated pole i was so worried about a really slick pole. i hope these tips help u out!! if not u may want to consider a brass or powder coated pole.

yes it is normal for them to feel tender, i think i read veena says not to overdo it, give them a break for a few days.
