oh it’s so funny you posted that i was jumping on here after working out but being bored stiff bc no fresh music I recently discovered Lilly allen (sort of like an Amy Winehouse) and The Fray has a great new album
I am looking for music from all eras James Brown-Neyo-Nickelback-Missy Elliot-60’s-70’s-80’s-remixes, ect https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_salut.gif

Thanks for the advice that’s true about the song having a few really good parts where I could do my best tricks and do simpler things in between great I’ll try that next session https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

I cant aysha yet ( it is my number 1 wanted move right now) but when I reverse climb I use the elbow grip I can’t seem to get a good feel the other way but probably good to know both so will start trying with forarm does anyone feel one is safer than the other or do you think it’s a matter of preferance?

Yaaahhhaaawww!!wow amazing job!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif great extended butterfly too https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif it took me awhile ( and alot of bruises to get that one) https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cool.gif I was really impressed with the moves 1:15 and after as beside the reverse climb I can’t do those, but have been trying https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_salut.gif well great video https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif i always get so excited when theres a new video https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif i made one last night, but am going to tape over it as usual i started out ok, but than ran out of ideas so I look a bit aimless casually strolling around the pole trying to think what to do next https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_question.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

Saw the floor video great work sascha!!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif you inspired me to get back into chair dancing i have been talking about it, but always head straight for the pole i used to do it a couple times a week think will do it tonight after bf goes to work was wondering about videos too can you make a video private so that only certain people can see it or is basically once it’s on the forum it’s open to the world? i would like to post a couple of songs i had done (eventually when get taxes so can buy laptop and actually post) but a couple I wouldn’t be comfortable having open to everyone just curious I have done Jans and Febs challenge (and taped it) after taxes/laptop will post as much as i can https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif

ok still havent got this, but think it’s lack of flexibility more than lack of strength I can hold myself comfortably in the bow and arrow with both legs straight up the pole (rather than having one come out straight in front of you ) so it’s basically the same position I would be in if I were to use the pencil mount with all my weight in my hands when i go to bend over, put my back against the pole and try to reach I can barely stretch arms enough to grab so don’t feel comfortable pulling myself up any suggestions on how to stretch and increase flexibility in the proper muscles to help with this move? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

ya i’m not sure either well that sounds like a good idea with the chair will have to use that next time I give it a try I’m going to try with boots on to see if that helps any thanks for the tip https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

I can’t do a full split ( pretty close, but not quite although i do feel comfortable doing drop splits off the pole as long as i have proper warm up & stretch ) I can do the hip hold, scorpio, gemini, pike (sitting upside down on pole with no hands) I have seen the jade done from all these, but once I’m inverted, I can’t figure out how to get into jade thought I was doing it right, but obviously falling off the pole isn’t part of the trick https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_redface.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif

I had this problem to when first started doing it I built strength over time and now have no problem Can’t do it on left side yet but am working on it I would say just keep practicing Use a loose as a grip as possible with bottom hand I’m sure you’ll get it https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif

well have been trying but cant seem to find that "sweet spot" on the leg rather than the shin bone so haven’t gotten very far someone told me it might be easier from an invert any ideas how I would do that?

I LOVE the new look Veena I had been doing some research into designing t-shirts (not nessicaraily pole clothes, although i have some ideas for that too) and was wandering if you had any helpful info ( web sites, tips, do’s/dont’s ect ) my father was diagnosed with a pretty serious health condition and he lives on a very tight budget as it is now he’s getting a little over his head with medical bills and such I work 2 jobs and if i am going to look for a 3rd income I would like it to be doing something I enjoy ( in this case designing T’s and am also looking in to starting classes in my area as 2 ladies I know are looking to start a yoga/dance fusion class and they are intrested in teaming up and getting poles involved ) I have been wanting to use my creative side to create profit for many years now, but it has always been a thought in the back of my mind with my father being so ill and needing help with money I am finally ready to push past the fear/insecurity of starting something like this any info you could pass my way would be an incredible help thanks in advance
