when i asked veena about this she said she likes both 45 better for things like spinning faster and certain mounts (pencil/jade/iguana whatever you refer to it as from floor) but things like jade split hurt alot more as there is a smaller pont of pressure think of a skinny bar being pressed into your chest compared to a 4×4 size bar with the bigger object the pressure is distibuted more evenly as oppsed to being so concentrated at 1 point i think 50 is better unless you have really small hands as learning on a 45 than trying to do it on a standard 50 can be difficult

you also have to be aware of your bones pole dancing isnt all muscle it’s important to have strong bones as well sounds like you may have done a little damage to bone in forarm not bad actually good as long as you let it heal and dont push it you actually stregthen bones with weight bearing activites (it’s why astranauts have to do special weight bearing actives after returning from space no gravity/weight being beared actually makes the bones soft just like with muscles, if done properly and not overdone, the bone gets "damaged" -don’t know what other word to use and like muscle as they repair tiny tears ect they actually build stronger ) like so many things in life, if it doesnt break you, you rise up stronger than before) if just putting a little pressure hurts sounds like the equvilant of shin splints rest it til it feels better has happened to me to and always feel better in 3-4 days of not using be sure to get plenty of vitamin D (great for healthy bones but also amzing for lots of other health benefits) hope this helped https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

than it creates a station that plays music that is similar to what you picked so if you typed in pussycat dolls you may end up with a station that plays missy elliot, britney spears, ect you can create a bunch of diffrent stations am actually listening to it now great resource for song ideas
expert village is a series of online tutorials they have pole dancing but is aimed at beginners and i don’t paticulary care for their pole videos

see im not sure i can get up by crossing ankles and sitting up not bc of lack of ab strength bc can do it no problem w/boots (can actually do sit ups on pole w/boots) but cant seem to find a secure grip with legs to actually allow myself to sit up w/o sliding down think i can go down way went up was able to do bow & arrow and come out with arms holding on pole in B&A position and letting body fall of pole backwards i’m just afraid i’ll get into it and fall on my head is there anyway to sort of practice or do you just have to go for it ?

i have done the shoulder mount but sometimes i cant as can’t figure out how to grip with legs/feet my ceiling is so low i can’t stretch my legs up much so it can be tough once i get a vid you will be able to see what i mean as its hard to explain i use a diffrent grip than that off the 1 in vid or veena uses i use the grip used in leigh anns or bobbi’s videos spilt fingers on top hand can’t wait to get better at basic sh. mt so can try these variations thanks for the link https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumleft.gif

well haven’t tried the "snap & spin" yet, but am getting braver have a decent amount to post now as far as video will be in the form of clips (very very random i may be wearing a 1 outfit playing a song, than i’ll be walking to camera to turn off, than there i am in diffrent clothes/song, than will cut back to original song/clothes ) it’s a little all over the place, but i did use a prop – long neclace did remix songs, and was in heels for some so did fit some challenges in am going to best buy this weekend to speak with someone about the problems i am having w/posting even though it’s frustrating i feel alot better after reading the suggestions i was given i know its possible it’s just a matter of knocking on enough doors til i find the 1 that works am not working today til 1130p ( have been working crazy hrs lately ) so am planning on taping some stuff to add to vid snowy day mine as well am planning on posting the 1st week of feb. should have enough vid by than can post a half way decent length vid https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

find pole buddy in area
post vids/picsso how is everyone doing with goals so far?

i just bought a second pole and thought about getting a 45 but didn’t wanted to get used to that and than have diifficulty like you said at a studio or club w/a standard 50
