ya it was such a blast! took some time to warm up to the idea of getting on stage, but once i touched that pole, it was freakin on! i have also been thinking of getting a stage or stand alone for some time, but am so confused as which to get. am just going to oreder a 45xpert reg pole for now ( my 3rd xpole). i am loyal to x, but obviously want something safe and user friendly. thanks for the in-depth reviews https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_salut.gif

ok so yes i would agree about going to your doctor just to take some blood test and make sure it’s not an underlying medical condition.
now energy- i work 2 jobs (10 shifts in 5days) so i know about making the most of energy
B vitamins are very important as well as iron ( your doc can tell w blood test if you are deficent in either)
stay hydrated – almost impossible to feel energized when dehydrated ( caffiene like sugar will only gve you a short term boost followed by the crash)
try to go to sleep and wake up about the same time everyday as much as possible to get your body on a sleep cycle
warm bath follwed by strecthing helps ( as your body temp drops you should start to feel more drowsy)
splash cool water on face and pulse point ( wrists/inner elbows, neck) this should refresh you
get moving. do squats /jumping jacks/dance whatever for a few minutes. you will get the blood circi.ulating better as well as raise your heart rate
eat plenty of protein (nuts are great as get protien, good fats, and b vitamins. oh and minerals!)
avoid heavy meals better to eat more frequently but smaller meals
don’t go more than 3hrs w/o eating something. piece of fruit, string cheese, yogurt ect
try to be as organized as possible so not wasting time/energy looking for things ecttake breaks througout the day. take a quick walk, daydream, read a magazing or whatver for a few mins here and there so your not running all day
lemon and other citrus scents as well as peppermint can help wake you up a bit

not sure if this was already said, but really opening your legs as your flipping over helps rather than sort of falling into it. i think some people call that sort of pose the "TAMMY" it will hurt alot for awhile, but what your saying sounds like you just need to get your inner thigh away from the pole a bit more as your flipping so its not against the pole to drag just opening legs wider as you get into it should help. if you watch leigh ann orsi you tube vids she really opens her legs as she goes into it so thats’s a good example of what i mean. hope it gets better for you!

thank you, i think i am going to try it from an ext butterfly. maybe at class this week so can get a spotter. have never used one and have been poling 2 yrs! i am very eager to get it, but i know when to say no so will ease into it and see how i feel. balance would be more of the issue. is there anything i should know to never or always do? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif

wel thanks! ok as far as split grips i learned sg aysha before forearm grip , but than started doing forearm grip all the time and now don’t feel comfortable w Sg aysha anymore (thats what i get for neglecting it) but i fel very comfortable w sg for butterfly, ext butter, ceiling stand ect i can cw and hs into butterfly and than into aysha, but can’t just flip right up. ok so will start working on getting re-aquianted w the sg aysha and than ask for a spotter when that feels natrual again. i really don’t think strength is going to be an issue, but balance worries me..well thanks for the help! i appreciate it. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

seems like this topic never gets a response, but will try again anyway. just wondering if anyone knows of any vids or forums where i can get some help w jacknifing off the pole ( not kicking up into it) from a butterfly or whatever. saw it done at class but still not totally sure of the exact steps to do itright. ANY help would be appreciated.
