I would love too Option 1. The digital cert is my favourite because I don’t think you want to send papers to Switzerland 🙂 (heavy costs).

I want to give you an advice that helped me with my slow progress when starting pole dance (and I was 32 years old, so you would think “oh thats a lot younger than me”, but it happens to me too when I start pole)

I took pole classes about 6 months and couldn’t any spin or climb while all the other “beginners” did it. What I learned after 5 years of pole: First, spins and climbs are NOT beginner work when you do not have any fitness background. I struggled with climbs for MONTHS. Second, honestly a lot of gorls in the beginner classes are not beginner, especially if they come from ballet, or other fitness or strength training.

The only “fix” I made is to stop going to classes. I was so frustrated at my 32 years surrounded by fit and strong girls in their twentys. What I did was attentively watch Veenas tutorials, follow the programs and give myself and my body time to grow. The pressure of comparing and emulating the others fell off and I could finally enjoy pole dance and its learning process.

And another thing I think about: It could be that 6 times training for pole a week is a bit too much stress for your body so it does regress rather than progress. Maybe go for 3 times a week or strictly follow a program at the website.

    Hi polertamikia8851

I would just give you two tipps that helped me a lot with progress and motivation to stay on track:

First, film yourself while doing tricks, spins and even strength work. You will see progress over time that you can compare. And only compare your progress, not progress made of others.

Second I would suggest to follow one of Veena’s programs. 30 Day start off is great for building a foundation and not to overwork your body. Or if you ready do the beginner levels oder later the invert program. They are so well structured and you will see some progress after finishing those.

There is also the PDC (Pole Dance Community) Syllabus. When you register on the PDC Website, you can download the Syllabus. Otherwise, I uploaded the Syllabus on my google drive, so you can download it:

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YmzLvPhC4NbnnOnPnyjsw9heWPf3r6ev/view?usp=sharing

The moves are listed by level. I use it too on my phone as app (it’s paid but not expensive). You can work through the levels and use Veenas lessons as instruction.

  • Yay!! Congratulations! Keep up!

Thanks for all the recommendations! I have another pair of paradise chick, a leopard print. They are great for the “sticky-ness” but I don’t like that they are highwaisted. It looks like all the brand ones are a bit high waisted.
I think I will look at amazon. What did you search for? Just wet look leggings or sticky leggings? What material are they made of? Is everything “wet-looked” working with the pole, no matter the material?

Yes I wanted to add the same thing as Fever said: It might be damaged or a missproduction. This can happen. I had this too when I bought my second pole, I had to return it.
I think when you have troubles with the srews and need force to tighten these, then something isn’t as it should be.

The idea of the advanced programs is great. I would like them too, as every level program you designed.
