Hey Felisha,
I'm not a mother and I'm not married or anything but welcome to SV! I will keep my fingers crossed for your baby girl. I really hope everything will be okay.

I'd be very reluctant to buy from them again given their customer care. I emailed them about 8 months back and am still awaiting a reply… don't hold your breath!

Hmmm I'm not sure if poling makes boobs smaller but I have deffo noticed that a lot of the competitive polers have a small bust. I just assumed it's because they are so lean from all the training. Personally, my boobs haven't shrunk from poling but I certainly have had many extended off periods when it comes to consistently poling so I'm probably not in a position to comment. I need to work out more! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif
I am a C-cup (UK size) and I have found taking the pill made them slightly bigger but poling hasn't changed them. Maybe with more exercise I'd drop down a cup size?!

Oh My God that co-owner sounds like a nasty cow. How completely unnesscesary. I do not usually agree with saying things online that could damage people's business' but in this case your issue is not personal, it IS business so you're totally entitled to name and shame them in reviews etc. Aside from the name-calling (which should definitely warrant a disciplinary) they did mess up your order and refused a refund which you were entitled to.
Be as awkward as possible and fight these f***ers to the end! I'd HATE to join classes in a place like that. It's the exact opposite to the supportive ethos that is generally applicable in pole dancing.

MemberMay 1, 2011 at 11:04 am in reply to: Getting to a point where I wonder if I’ll ever get this moveThis move is my nemesis! I have track of how many times I have posted here looking for help, I'm so freakin' bad at it. I recently got a little bit closer to doing it but it looks CRAP. I just can't make it look clean and pretty. Feeling seriously disheartened by this move and like you guys I feel 'stuck' because I can't do it.
Here is a pic of my most recent attempt. The pic aint glamourous and I'm sweaty and wearing slippers in it, but maybe yous can tell me where I'm going wrong? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cool.gif
Is it just needing to drop my head back? Is it my hamstring flexibility (or lack of it!) making my legs look crap? please HELP ME!! Arrrrggghhh… https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_evil.gif hahaha thanks!

If I can suggest as well as bio oil, try using neroli oil. It's great for the skin's elasticity. Also if any of you guys are near a Lush shop try the Therapy massage bar. It is made of cocoa butter, neroli and lavender and worked wonders on the stretch marks I had on my sides when I lost weight.
I have some unsightly new red ones on my hips now, time to shed some pounds methinks (and by some neroli products!)

Hiya Bubbles,
I started Bikram yoga a while back and found the results to be quite good however, I haven't done as many classes as I would like due to illness. But I'll give my experience of it so far.
After the second class my tummy looked considerably flatter which (as I mentioned to Sues yesterday) is probably due to all the retained water being flushed out.
In terms of flexibility, it was really good for allowing me to see how much potential I actually have. I think sometimes when it comes to flexibility (if you're like me and not flexible at all) that you can feel like it simply isn't achievable and that you're just not flexible. Well Bikram lets you stretch a whole lot more due to the heat and even that in itself shows you just how much flexibility you do have!
Like I said, I haven't had enough classes to comment on overall flexibility but stretching is certainly a bit more comfortable now, it still hurts and I still don't like it but I don't dread it like I used to and I can push my stretches a bit further too. My skin looks great and my arms became really defined very quickly! Wayhey! Good luck if you try it. I literally wanted to die during the first few classes but you feel amazing afterwards!!

Nymphdancer, did I understand your correctly, you lost 4' off your waist in 30 days?? Or was it over a period of a few months? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif Either way, that's good going, I bet you feel great now!

The song from the year you were born is great. There are so many cool ones for my year, lots for Alice Cooper and Bonjovi etc hahahah that could be fun! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif I'd totally do it if I could dance through a whole song! The one word idea is excellent too because it's not one exact set idea, it can literally be interpreted in dozens of different ways.
