Have a chat with a quality powder coating firm take them the pole to look at and tell them what you are doing with it as with any finish on a metal surface its down to the preperation prior to applying the required finish. Hope this helps? Polesilks Technical Dept

Interesting post. We have not seen anything about this here in the UK. Maybe you should contact them direct and ask them to make a comment for this post.
As a new manufacture in the Pole industry and having been innovative with Polesilks we have being working on a New Pole system and although that was the simple part from Pete’s engineering background and the testing has proved very positive in the way that the poles are fixed together and then tighten without any tools. The joint design is amazing and has always come apart when ever it has been tested in any situation. The difficult part is bringing this to market.
We have been working on a stage design for some time using this new joint technology and its very close now but all the testing for the Stage Pole has not been conclusive 100+% and until we are happy with its performance and safety we will not put this to market.

Hi miekel Thanks for filling in the survey. Noted about the 42mm. We will launch with 45mm initially and then a 50mm as 45 seems to be more preferable.

For me when I met Pete he had no idea I did Pole.. I told him I went to a fitness class. He did not find out till about 3 months into our relationship as I needed him to put a pole up at my place. His face was a picture but he fully supported me and let me get on with it. Never told his mates or bragged.. And look how its changed my life? If I had never being doing pole bumped into Pete with him being an engineer Polesilks would have never been born.. I love him and he worked he ass for me in an area I knew nothing about… and look what he did last year at Pole Expo??? Sue x

We are really looking forward to going to Pole Expo again this year and have already booked booth #A. Its amazing and Fawnia and her team run it so well… It has a special place in our hearts as it was the first time I had ever flown long haul first time in the USA and to top it of my boyfriend Pete dropped the big question “will you marry me?” not in any place but he had been talking with Fawnia and it was done in front of 1100 people on the Friday night in the Rain Night club… OMG and our picture keeps popping up every where… See these from Sam Green… Cant wait to meet you amazing people again and have a great time.. Polesilks Multi-Fit unit starts at £183.99 + £20.00 shipping. It comes with a main unit to fit a 50mm pole and an adaptor to fit a 45mm pole,(or you can choose from a different adaptor or buy additional ones if you have different size poles) White 10ft high SILKS, Allen key tool and all the instructions. Our unit is fully tested and insured. We can also offer adaptors to fit 42mm/40mm/38mm and different lengths of SILKS 10ft, 11.5ft, 13ft and colours Black, Pink, Red, Aqua.
