Thanks so much for the suggestions! As far as pointing my toes goes my shoes are not pole shoes they are just every day wear shoes and they bend up so it looks like I am not pointing them but I promise I was. I think I have built up such a callous on my inner thighs that I no longer feel any pain LOL I was surprised at how much easier CAR is than CKR I like it much more b/c I feel more secure than with CKR. I wish I could do Veenas lessons but finances do not allow for any extra spending right now, soon I will be able to though https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif I am going to keep working on the tips suggested and maybe some day soon my CKR will be as strong as my CAR https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I use to be SO easily motion sick I could not even swing on a park swing now I can twirl on spinny mode forever and not feel anything, I think the pole has helped me. take it easy to kind of build up your tolerance and maybe it will get better for you also

Fantastic thread! I recently started inverting and I now know why my hands are glued between my calves and I cannot do anything but slide back down the pole. My form is off so I am going to drop the inverts and work on strengthening my abs and arms more so that I can do a proper invert and maybe then I will not just hang there lost lol thanks for the tips

lThanks so much for the replies everyone. Stellarmotion~ My pole room is a freezer for some reason no matter if the rest of the house is 72 degrees my pole room is in the 50’s and 60’s I think it definitely does have something to do with the pain I am experiencing b/c I tried a friends pole and could pole sit without any pain and then when I came home and tried it it hurt again. What kind of lotion do you use? I have been afraid to use any lotion for fear of slipping off of the pole. It makes sense that when your skin is super dry you do not grip the pole as easily so I think I will try some moisturizer and find a way to get my room to be warmer. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif

I am going to share my experience which is definitely going against what a lot of you have said you follow for eating plans. I lose the most weight the quickest on strict meat only eating. If you want to read about it check out Zero Carb eating. I felt better than I ever have,my skin was glowing I never had any teeth trouble with plaque buildup or cavaties and I lost 10lbs in the first 5 days, was never hungry and had tons of energy and I strongly believe its the way humans are made to eat. The higher the fat content the better you feel sat fat is not harmful our cells are made up mostly of saturated fat we need it! be unafraid of red meat and saturated fat. "Good Calories Bad Calories" is a fantastic read as well as "Trick and Treat how healthy eating is making us ill" Anytime I want to lose weight I know eating strict high fat no carbs will work fast and make me feel the best.

The only problem was as it spins the flirty girl pole extender loosened which of course is a big danger so my dad put a huge bolt onside the pole to connect it to the extender and now its not going anywhere. The golf ball is the perfect size that it will not go inside the pole and my 250lb 6ft tall dad spun around it to make sure it can withstand the weight and its perfectly safe and works wonderfully. I love it and I have total trust in it which really helps me let loose and get into my moves https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

Oh man I am sorry you are hurt I am in the similar situation as you except mine has been bothering me for over a month and I am coming to accept that I may have permanently hurt my forearms I have not poled since it started hurting but even simple things like cutting meat causes me pain. I hope you and I both can get back to normal and poling again soon :hugs:

I have had mine done for 6 years and I would do again if I ever lost it for some reason. I do not mind needle pain so it wont hurt you it just did not hurt me. Tongue swelled huge and I could not eat or talk normal for a while the first time I had it done, people will notice if its pierced close to the front but if you get it far back enough and learn to talk with it no one will readily notice it https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif It is now a part of me and I love it

I cannot grasp things or lift things its really bad and I have been avoiding any an all exercise and movements which use these tendons but the pain is getting worse and I almost cannot close my hand so I am going to give it a couple more days of abstaining from poling and workouts and if it does not start to improve…off to the Dr. I go https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif
