I'm probably too late, but I just wanted to throw in my two cents in the pot. I also live in the North East (Western New York). I got a 45mm chrome pole in February and it works great! In the humidity, I stick SUPER well. I'm from an area that gets very humid in the summer. I find that the humidity makes poling so much easier! I actually stick to the pole! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif In the winter, the air is very dry and I can't stick to the pole. I really don't want to have to use any product on my skin to aid sticking, but I may have to think about it in the winter months.
