I think, for most of us, the reason why it takes so long is because we're trying to find the best technique that works for us for so long. It's been over 6 months and I;ve finally found a routine that works for me and I;ve finally learnt how to stretch properly and so I'm seeing a difference.
Also, I havent stretched in the past 3 days and I feel like crap. I will tomorrow !!

I let myself recoever for a week and although im not that fat into the stretch as I was before, I feel much better :). Im also 4 inches into my front splits (and at the point where I can't get any lower). Yoga really helps me

Thanks ladies. Its the worst thing ever – losing all that hard work all because I tried too hard!!! Im not using that leg as much to do stretches but Im still working on my right leg and hope I can do a front split with it. Im gonna look at Veena's tutorials – they do look awesome!! 🙂
