    Day 6 trying to move with the Pole and figure out how to deal with my weak ass grip issue while I work on conditioning and strengthening again.

    I have been doing some kind of pole conditioning no matter how little everyday. I stop and do a few basic pole holds every thing I walk past my pole because my grip 9is so weak I can’t do any tricks yet. My basic invert I’m having to toe hook and pull and we both know that’s not ok….lol So today I believe I’m gonna start adding in pole tucks.

    Omg yes!!! 😲 please feel free to call me anytime 386-212-7320. I’m still a full time stay at home and I have been dealing with all.kinds of illness over the years. That’s why I was offthe pole for so long. I have a final diagnosis now and a real treatment plan in place,so.now im.able to start healing and recovering my body and mind. I really lost myself over the past 10 years. Kids are adults now and I’m healing. ITS TIME.TO FOCUS ON ME FOR A LITTLE WHILE.

    Oh I’m so in!!! Veena you my beautiful lady friend,you are exactly the motivation I needed ! I’m so so happy to be back training with you!
    And the fact that we are both coming back from a.lo g break from pole at the same time is the most amazing coincidence I could’ve asked for. It’s gonna take me lo ger to come back for sure I been off the pole for somewhere between 8 and 10 years 😅 🙃

    Veena is amazing and I’m sure she can help you with this, but I would like put it out there. I have the opposite issue. I have always danced in the big sexy heels so I feel awkward without them on the pole.
    I found that a lot of people don’t know how to dance/move in them . I teach specific “heel focused’ class on the Salut app. I would love to share the link with you if Veena is OK with that. I just don’t want to offend. This is her business….lol

    Veena it’s been years. I do t know if you even remember me from way back then…lol I’m on day 4 back to pole and at this point just the warm up is making me sore…lol and my grip strength is and -10 like I can bearly hold a basic pole hold for a second or 2. Is not coming back to me as fast as I would like. My mind knows what to do but my body is still a first day student

    I did the day 1 and day 3 of the 30 day on track pole and I’m so sorry from just that. Today I did rest day and grip strength practice.

    Well i started working on the slowing down thing as of today . still have a long way to go that is for sure …lol i felt like i was going all slow and sexy then i watched the videos back and i was still moving pretty fast after all . this is going to take some real work …lol I am bad about self criticizing . I know what i use to look like on the pole and i see what i look like now and it is driving me crazy . i have gone in the opposite direction then everyone else . I use to be so good at this and now not so much . maybe I'm just having a bad me day . lol thus to shall pass and i will get to the point that i want to be at in due time . I just have to put in the work . And that is where i have been lacking . I want to just hop on the pole and in a matter of days be right back to the way i was years ago . And when i don't see the progress that i want to as fast as i want to i put the pole away and don't touch it again got months …lol i am going to try not to do that this time . I am investing the effort to stretch back out because i have little to no flexibility any more . and i have been going to the gym and weight training again so that i can get stronger . And i have been doing my tread mill and other cardio machines as to lose the weight that i so feel is a big part of my problem . but i have now committed to working on the pole at least an hour at a time 3 days a week . So now i will be trying to upload videos more often so that i can watch my progress . wish me luck . i just added 5 videos this morning . so I'm off to a good start …lol

    Thank you all so much . I agree I need to work on slowing down . I got the high energy thing from all my years working in the club . When I slow down i feel clumsy . lol and i seem to have a harder time with my transitions for some reason .The hair flip again is instinct from the club . Have to keep the hair out of my face so I can see the money and watch for the hands …lol I try not to do it and then I watch my videos back and I see that I do it a lot . I hope to be able to get some more vid's up again soon . I have been working on strength a lot in the gym so that I can get back to doing some of the more advanced moves again . And I still need to lose some more weight so it is a little easier to put and keep my bottom over my head and not always have to hang on for dear life . . wish me luck …lol
