Polergirl- You are super sexy. I love watching your videos. You’re body is gorgeous!!!!

I had a similar issue just a couple of months ago. I started losing weight in my chest and tummy but my booty and legs stayed the same. My arms got HUGE (I’ve always been a swimmer too-so add pole in the mix and BOOM! Huge guns!)I felt super disproportionate. I was upset because I always loved my large breasts and my tummy. But I soon realized that I love the way pole makes me FEEL. Not necessarily how it makes me look. Im in the best shape of my life. And I’m beginning to look at my body more like the well-oiled machine that it is instead of a perfectly proportionate barbie doll. I’m far more confident now, though sometimes I still have moments of weakness. We are beautiful machines!! Be proud 🙂

Hello! You’re going to love it here. I work out almost everyday. Typically I do cardio 4-5 days a week. Running or a youtube workout to get the heart going (Tracy Anderson’s webisodes on youtube are amazing! I do the arms, butt and thighs 🙂 Then about 4-5 days a week I’m on the pole for at least an hour and a half (addicted 😉 always followed by a cool down and stretching session. I would highly HIGHLY recommend Veena’s lessons. She has loads of tips for starting up-strengthening, stretching etc! She is amazing. Calluses- yep. But you learn to love them along with the many bruises- or badges of honor\pole kisses you will recieve. Eating healthy- I am a huge fan of juicing organic fruits and veggies such as spinach, kale, pineapples, mangoes, papaya and grapes etc. I eat really healthy during thee week but I cheat on SUndays 😉 Enjoy your pole journey! You will never feel healthier, sexier, more confident or stronger.

Sometimes I get that feeling after a hard workout or stretching session. Some people say it’s not a good thing- that you overworked your muscles. But I think as long as they aren’t numb it’s okay. Be sure to stay hydrated. I like to eat an egg and piece of toast right after a workout (there is about an hour window after working out where your muscles are starved for protein and carbs.) A cool down coupled with eggs and toast are great for post-workout regimen. I found it helps with the shakiness 🙂

The Theracane is my best friend. It’s my go-to self treatment tool. I recommend it to all of my clients! Very inexpensive and easy to use!

He is amazing!! I’ve seen some of his vids before but that is crazy! That’s a pretty intricate piece of floorwork…If noone else can break it down for us I suggest watching it in slow-mo over and over again and break the moves down to segments then string them all together (I know, harder than it sounds :|) But hopefully someone can show us! Thanks for sharing 🙂

One of my (many) favorite things about pole is watching\feeling myself progress. I was not one to stick to any fitness regimen so you can imagine how into it I must be after a year. You’ll be hard pressed to find a feeling like the one you get when you nail a move you’ve been yearning for! I’m stronger and more confident than I’ve ever been. My thirst for working out has grown tremendously because of pole fitness. Now I lift weights, run, stretch, eat healthier etc. to be better at pole! It comes very highly recommended 🙂

I also started with the pigeon pose. I show how I stretch for it in this vid. Starts around 2 mins I think. Is this what you mean??

Hey guys! I had a bad accident a few years back and had major problems with my si joint and sciatica nerve. These excersizes are similar to the ones my pt had me do and I found them very relieving! Hope this helps 🙂

For my home warm up I do about 40 squats and 1 minute wall sits. Then I do Tracy Anderson’s butt and thighs:

    And arms

I get super warm plus my booty and arms have never looked/felt better 🙂
