Oh sweetie I am so sorry! Just 3 weeks ago my daughter found the lockk on her storage cut and everything of value gone and her stuff dumped all down the street. We were digging through ditches and trash all over town for baby pictures, birth certificates, baby teeth and all those things you can't replace. They caught them…10 of them!!!  All a bunch of crack heads who called their family to the storage after they broke into it and let them haul off what they didn't want..It was devastating because when she lost her job and moved in with us with her little one we tried to teach her to be responsible and store her own things..wow I felt like S**t when it happened. We have pics of my little grandson going through the trash and finding his thomas the train parts and his kindergarten first day aart. We all felt so violated. The idiots took her big wrought iron bed set a block away and sold it and we found it and the police were all over it…

I know you feel so violated, please report it, change your locks and know we can't stop this from happening AND we can't let them take away our sense of freedom. Stay strong and make sure your lanmdlord knows how upset you are and that he should change the locks immediatley as his responsibility. Here if you need to vent…I know I have done  a lot of crying and yelling and cusrsing… 🙂

Having multiple accounts on facebook is a real pain I have several….

I have one for  old high school friends, family, artists ect on one acct, then have another page for poling (the name I use here on Veena's) for what I like to call my artistic side…I have a lot of other interests that are not mainstream such as herbal healing, candle mediatation, my love of faery and goth. ect…when you get to be my age and have been born and raised strict religious background none of these things are looked on very well.  So rather than deal with all of that I just decided to have a page where I can express myself freely and hopefully without reprecussions not so much against me but family and friends…(I have grandchildren and a devoutly religious sister who I adore and would probably accept it as me being outside the box as she knew I was the entire time I have been alive…LOL but I would never want to intentionally or unintentionally embarrass her or her family.)

I see nothing wrong with any of my views or poling but the world doesn't always see it that way. There are custody issues with my grandchild who lives with us as well and I would never put my daughter's custody at risk since they are under my roof. and NO, poling should not risk things like this in our lives but I have to realistic to some they just don't get it.

I am also in the process of starting a animal crossing page for animal rescue because I drive my family and friends NUTS with the shelter postings. LOL

I think the younger you are the more readily its accepted…my daughter has a attended a pole dancing class and it was no big deal but I would be the talk of my hometown…or at least the re-talk of my home town since I always was a bit of a boho chick to start with..lol

So in my opinion, consider who MAY see a video you forget to tag for only specific people or keep them tame but DON"T be ashamed or embarrased of poling just realize a lot of people equate it with "not nice girls" lol  They have no idea how much work it is and that it is a sport for a lot of dancers….or how much fun they are missing)

by the way i WISH I was young sometimes just so I could go…you can stick it! lol  But Veena is a great way for me to share videos which I need to do again…SOON!!!!

    Happy poling!!!!!!!

If it is not actually your photos it could be as someone who said…you have a hater….it seems so Jr. High but it happens all the time…and who thought people would be so jealous or freaked out by pole dancing pics??? But as we all know there are people out there who just can't help but believe all pole dancers are prostitues and trashy and must be stoppped at all costs…how stupid and insecure can a person be???? Then you have the jealous ones who rather than EVER consider trying the pole they would just rather pretend they hate it and that the only place for the pole and those that use it completely out of the public view…poor things don't know what they are missing…lol

Then they are the spammers….those are people who manage to get on your page somehow and post a close to nude pic of women usually…they really love the whole girl on girl thing. Most of the the time they actually blosck you the owner of the page from seeing it and it has a link to a porno site or video saying watch my girl have sex…the problem with those is they are a double-edged sword.  If anyone sees it and marks as inappropriate or SPAM it goes against you the page owner…  The problem I have found is that if it shows up on your page YOU NEVER EVEN KNOW! I figured this out after seeing a spam semi-porn pic on friends pages…I messaged them with a message like wow, I was shocked to see that sex link/pic on your wall…everytime they responded with "what picture????" of "Yes, someone told me about it but I never saw it"….so the spammers have managed yet again found a wormhole to come into on facebook users pages. Usually people who report it don't realize it will shut your page down and often they figure out whats going on and don't want to embarass you so they just click on this spam without realinf facebook assumes you are the culprit.

Its a bad situation with no real answer since spammers are so damned sneaky.  So it could be someone who doesn't like you, or your pole dancing activity or just a gutless spammer out there trolling for hits on the link to his porno page.  I don't think there is much you can do but I enjoy having my facebook page so if it happens to me I will inevitably do another page…lol

another suggestion is to set up a page for your pole dancing friends and activity. Less chance of someone who is your "friend" or "friend of a friend" reporting you.

I actually have 2 pages…because we all have a few bones in the closet we only share with our own circle of like friends. I follow a different spiritual path than the standard Southern Baptist Church route so I have a page where I am free to discuss and share that part of my life with friends of the same mindset. I mean my traditional family and friends freaked when they found out I attended a Uniterian Universalist church…no not a cult church lol…just a church that accepts people of all walks of life and spirtual paths without condemnation. Such as being a pole dancer is not an automatic qualification for hellsville!  LOL I happen to be a person who believes that there must be a feminine side to religion because after all we women are the strongest and gentlest of the sexes. LOL  Nothing too scary just different. I tend to share my pole dancing activities on that facebook page and have never had a problem.

just some thoughts….the internet is awesome but can have its down side…but please don't let that stop you from enjoying the best thing since sliced bread!  POLE DANCING!!!

I know how you feel my 11 yr old granddaughter was diagnosed with sever migraines and epilepsy. It was scary…she will just be walking and she falls to the ground. SCARY every single time too. Never get used to that stuff with kids.  Thanks to meds she is much better and has even made fly girl on her cheerleading team.  Bless your heart i hope she recovers quickly, I know we wish we could just jump in their body and let it be use instead of them. The good thing is that fever really can cause that kind of seizure which hopefully she won't experience again. Stay strong and yes I relate to getting puked on as well…not McKenna but my min-doxie who has seizures. She knows when one is coming and she heads for the door because she doesn't want to get sick in the house. Poor thing and then all I  can do is talk her through like my granddahter. Sending prayers for the wee one and you and grandpa too. keep us up to date.

I just got through looking on ebay for a poster or book or something with kind of a chart thing of  photos of moves positions but no luck yet…

  • to chemgoddess….I thought  was the only one who thought VS models were too skinny. I am pretty skinny .. always have been and hated it..always wanted curves didn't get any curves til my 30's.. While they are gorgeous I see they use the tricks I use being to skinny…crossing the legs to hide the bony legs. LOL I just wish young girls could grow up feeling beautiful no matter their physical appearance..I always told my sister I was going to write a book called skinny girls cry too…lol Oh the dressing rooms I have bawled in because everything fell off me. I don't want anybody to objectify my daughters or granddaughter on the other hand I have no problem with my husband doing it as long as I am the one holding the whip…hehehe

June 29, 2011 at 7:53 pm in reply to: The Metal on/in your Pole ***ALLERGY and other info***

ok, I am absolutely freaked out now…reason number one because of medical problems I have with my immune system (I heal very slowly with any cuts, ect) but also because the symptoms you guys are talking about may be what I am experiencing..I know that I get these little blisters, that itch and it takes a while for them to heal. (Not like blisters you get from wearing new shoes or even praticing on a pole)The thing is they could never tell what cause them. They said it could have been my Rhuematoid arthritis during a flare where my body's immune system fights itself and thus the blistering of the skin.  However the day after being on the pole I woke up and realized the dreaded itching blister had arrived yet again. Didn't think about a metal causing it but now I'm wondering. Neither I nor the doctors have been able figure out what causes them. I wonder if it could actually be a metal I'm coming in contact with. (Not neccesarily my pole)? But maybe something that I don't handle all the time. I have had the problem for years but never had anyone suggested allergy to metals. You would think with all the tests and hospitalizations somebody would have thought about it.

Then I realized if it was an allergy it wouldn't show up as a metal poisoning. Crazy. I only get them on my hands or feet…basically where I would walk (barefoot for me 75% of my life) or my hands where I would hold things. I don't wear any jewelry really. Glad you posted this. While I doubt it is my pole it did give me an idea to start checking and maybe use a diary to see if I can figure it out.

  • That was awesome to see…a strong good pole dancer…bout time! Thanks for sharing.

oh my…more drool from Georgia and I can't even pole outside my house…lol  What I really need is some kind of booty shorts, bottoms something that helps my very flat backside…..  geez its sad.  https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif   I know if I wear jeans with pockets it looks much better on me so maybe I should try something with ruffles but i don't want too much foo-foo just bootie. lol    The best panties I ever found to fit me were at Walmart during Halloween ..they were actually more like boys underwear but thicker than regular panties. They had cool stuff on them like wicked…and witchful thinking..they were so cute and lasted so well.  Can't a flat girl booties just get something that makes her trunk look like it has a little junk. lol

    this place is awesome!

May 18, 2011 at 11:40 pm in reply to: Grip Gloves

I have some problems with gripping with both hands and feet due to an RA deformity….I got the ankle protectors, gloves and the wrist/thumb supports all with tack from mighty grip because all the practice in the world couldn't fix the gap my palms and feet had between them and the pole.

I have to say I love them, I love poling even though a beginner. If I hadn't found this product I probably would never have been able to learn and would have given up on it. I have a long way to go starting with out with conditioning and strengthening (again after a setback) but finding a way to modify my grip was a welcome find.  Not sure I will ever try inversions because of my grip but at least I have found a way to pole.

May 17, 2011 at 8:04 pm in reply to: Creepy Creepers Lurking!!!!

I have to say I wouldn't have found and started poling without his web site…..and I also understand creepy creepsters….but they will find what thwy want to see in just a woman walking down the street. The internet is scary and I think my girls are less aware than me. I mean I found the front of my house on google with my grandson in front  of it, my name, income and how much I paid for it. Turns out a real estate agent took pictures of homes in the area with addresses and a company got them and tracked down property info and posted in their for pay services to get info on someone. I found a site to block all my info but another will pop up.

I was scared to post my videos for several reasons but now I think maybe someone new will see I got brave when I was beginner. I guess I would rather a poling lurker seeing me on the internet than lurkong outside my window although I'm a little older than most of you so you probably draw more whackos than I ever have to worry about. On my feedback. Only my friends can see my info, videos, photos or comments. I have some that are on friends lists for crafting, politics and other reasons that are limited in what they see. (I did remove a couple of videos on SV because of custody issues in the family…..sad I know but you have to pick your battles  🙂

one day maybe this will become so mainstream people don't look at the same. But I always wonder how bad is a guys life if he can't go to a porno site, sex chat room or to a local gentlemen's club??? I mean its everywhere and someone has misdirected him if he or she thinks this site is their answer. Just sayin'.

and I did get a little tickled about the feet videos….there are certainly a wide range with a lot of imagination and talk about great looking feet…..well….i think that applies to everyone here.  😉

I bought my first pole in the 45mm and I really like it because I have small hands but I have never used a larger one. I do however have super skinny legs and no booty at all I have a feeling a bigger pole might help that some but I don't think I would give up on this smaller pole because grip is so important.
