I love this thread…I wasn't a Veener back when this first started either…and I read the whole thing. Congrats PDR! Thank your close friends for us too please. I am sure it wasn't an easy journey, but one that I am glad you made https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
I love my laugh which is ((((LOUD)))) but usually bubbling on top. I love my eyes..the shape and color. I love my legs which are muscular and are very low maintenance shaving wise. I love my unruly curly hair because it matches my personality a bit.

I am not sure how I got them stuck, but they are. I don't plan on moving anytime soon, so it's no bother. Xpole does sell a C cup release tool for that problem for $19.99 that comes as a pair for future reference. I haven't bought them though.

Sweat wicking pole clothes help me in addition to Tite Grip. Wearing a regular sports bra and shorts, they are soaking wet usually in 15 minutes. I know it sounds weird, but wearing poleskivvies, I still sweat horribly…but they are damp instead of soaking wet. For me, that can be the difference between being able to stay on the pole with anything that requires the pole basically at my crotch or sliding.

Warming up the pole- walking around the pole or doing spins creates a friction and when you touch the pole it is actually warm.

Charley, we have a "workshop" every month. It's an open house type of thing, not an actual guest poler. The studio I attend is very small, 3 is our max class size. For the workshop, the max is 6 (pole sharing for that) and there is no inverting or even climbing at all. All levels may attend or even people that have never poled and were thinking about trying it. They are geared more toward fun…getting back to basics. Working on floor, transitions, very few spins. This has more chatting and laughter. The chatter is great and usually the getting to know your fellow poler kind of thing.

Not to long ago, I actually tried the blowdryer thing. I was warmed up, but couldn't get my pole warm no matter how many spins or climbs I did. I even tried hugging it and nada….after I whipped out the blow dryer, it was FINALLY warm enough for me to maintain enough grip to even spin on so that it stayed warm. (xpert chrome)

@PoleFitMom, it's your settings. I used to have an Evo, if you already have SV open:

Uncheck Mobile View
go back. That will allow you to enter chat. If you don't like the view of other webpages after you leave chat, enable mobile view again. It has helped me get my fix on the move oftenhttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
