Hey Guys,
Thanks for the advice. I've had a few injuries so I understand the time off. I think I'm just more frustrated than anything. When I tore my deltoid I could at least spin on the other side but any quick motion – let alone a knee hang- is not working for me right now.
I'm going to see my chiropractor again today. My biggest question is if it's alright to stretch through the pain a bit or if that will just hinder it more…

I definitely already do ice baths!! I’m a trainer too so I really just think its a lot of over use. I could definitely spend more time warming my wrists up in the morning though before jumping right in.
I just ordered the strength straps that aerial any recommended so ill see how those work out. I love that their washable too because ill be using them a lot 🙂

Wow so many replies! Thanks for all the help!! I'll check out the Aerial Amy post and go from there, she usually knows what she's talking about. And if you say the mighty grip ones work than even better- I can buy some pole swag while I'm placing an order 😉

Okay random question. I tried the handsping (and cartwheel) this morning and this is where I am struggling… you know when you watch videos and everyone kicks up from beside the pole but when they finish off they have almost turned so that they have a leg on either side of the pole (almost in a v) that is where i struggle. I end up vertical beside the pole (not for long, but that's where i go). Any help?

Thank you both so much for the help! I have a practise tomorrow and will give it some work! I can do the cartwheel… just can't hold it long enough.. YET!!! But thanks for the breakdown!! I'll keep you posted as to how it goes!
