If the the warmers are rib-knitted ones then you could try sewing elastic thread into the top inch or so, kind of how the inside of sports socks are. It’s a bit faffy & time consuming I know, but it might offer a permanent fix.

Mine had the clear/white silicone ring on the dome too. I never had any issues with it coming undone or anything though, I wish I still had it.

https://instagram.com/p/39bn9ilr-s/ I think I may have found it! Thank you to Tropical Verticals link on the Instagram video thread. The leg is in a slightly different position to how I imagined it, but what a lovely spin! 💜

One thing I would mention Panix, if you have the X Pole without the little o-rings going round the pole-to-dome adaptor, then it can sometimes get stuck slightly in the ceiling mount & come crashing down just after you remove the pole! I have a nice dent in my wooden floor after this happened to me.

Sorry for the confusion everyone, I meant to include a piccy of my setup which shows the ceiling mount & two separate eye bolts next to it on either side! The picture didn’t load because my internet is so crappy here! Wow, that would be too perfect if x pole had thought to build them in.

I have only an 8 foot high xpole & use a ceiling mount which I can’t recommend enough! It’s way easier to take the pole down & back up & a lot safer too. No more worries about whether the dome is still holding firm as the mount block holds the top of the pole completely captive. I needed the mount as the the beam is too narrow for the dome to be used safely. The two little things either side of the mount are aerial fixings for a hammock.

I used to have waxing done fairly regularly but it didn’t work as well as I’d hoped, so I bit the bullet & had a full Brazilian laser treatment which took over a year of seven treatments with regrowth cycles. O.M.G!! I could not believe how painful it was, but three years on there’s been hardly any regrowth. It works best on dark hair but it’s certainly not for everyone. I love the results however & I’d recommend it based on that.

Thank you so much everybody! 🙂 I’ve tried it a few times from the spin & getting it better but I’m wondering about the hand grip, I feel safer in baseball grip but I’m really hoping to get brave enough for a split grip behind the back, would this work? Or maybe an elbow grip? It feels really scary!

Rylonn, if you shorten the pole right down, would you then have enough space to add a smaller extension piece so that you wouldn’t need to unscrew the pole as much? Not sure if this would help the problem?

Thank you both for good advice! 🙂 I’ve ordered the standard mount along with a lovely pole warmer which should be delivered on Monday. Can’t wait to play on spinny again, it’s been a while! 😛

Lol, thank you! To make a faux ponytail stay on really good & be invert-proof make sure you get the comb teeth or clip right in behind the band of your ‘real’ ponytail & make sure that’s done really tight too.
