I think you're probably seeing your video way different to how everyone else would, it's so easy to really pull yourself apart instead of seeing what you do well, I'm really guilty of doing it too!

I've been poling for several years now & have still to put any videos up here, I just think I don't look like me in them, or at least how I'd like to look. It's a really good thing to record your own progress & sometimes look back & see how far you've progressed even if you're not ready to show the world, it'll give you a great confidence boost.https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

The most important thing to remember is that no matter how good, everyone started somewhere, also it's a really supportive pole community on here, everyone's so kind!

My ex certainly didn't 'get it' he even threatened to cut my X pole up with an angle grinder if I continued to use it,https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif needless to say he didn't last very long in my life!https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif Luckily my wonderful fiance thinks it's great, he's even had a go himself.

For floor to ceiling mirrors you could try those mirrored sliding doors they have on the front of built in wardrobes. I've got three of them along one wall of my pole room with storage behind them from when it was our bedroom, it makes the room feel really big & airy.

Would clear pink cellophane or plastic sheets work in front of the mirror to get the pink tint?

I mostly wear acrylics as I’m a nail tech & use them as my advertisement. I do find it slightly more awkward to grip sometimes, not sure if its to do with pole diameter tho, I’m on a 38mm. Yeah the pain when you catch or wrench one is horrible. I’m guessing the thicker the pole diameter the less they would interfere? X

This drives me nuts that people have these rip-off websites when there are others out there like Veena who put so much thought & effort into what they do!

I wonder if the owners of the youtube video clips realise what they're being used for!

I have the R Pole Play & I love it! I goes up anywhere, even in the garden when the suns out. I got it because I live in a cottage with low ceilings & I didn’t want to screw anything in into them & I also wanted to be able to move the pole around for a change of scenery from time to time!
