What kind and size of poles does tantra have?
Are any of the pro video submissions online? Just watched the amateur… awesome! And would love to see the pros =)
Thanks!

Any plans for a pole jam? If not, let's set it up!

If you get an answer please let us know… the one in the studio I go to comes unscrewed ALL THE TIME!!! drives me crazy!

Yup. PS will make the poles top loading still. It looks a bit different from the old style, but it's still tightened at the top. Just ask nicely =) For what it's worth, I have 2 PS poles and have never had a problem with customer service.

We were going into it from a pole sit or wrist seat, then exiting into a plank or a kinda sideways drop. Def still needs smoothing out, but I'll see if I can get a vid today or tomorrow if you want

Yay! Thanks polecat, that's the one!

vinter – pretty close. but instead of off to one side the pole is right up the middle. lets you lean your legs away from the pole. and both hands are holding the pole. will have to try this one though, too!
polecat – by advanced do you mean with both hands above? if so, its kinda like that. but your legs are between your arms.

Sound pretty tasty/easy and you actually know what you're eating! Plan on making these as soon as I can hit up the grocery store =)

I'd love to see a highlights list for each lesson, maybe posted under the lesson. Just a list of POC and the helpful tips for the move. For when you've already watched the video 10 times and just need a quick reminder.https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

What made the difference for me in the scorpio was not relying on armpit to grip (with a little side) but making sure I was arching/leaning back into the move so the pole was in the nice soft bit between hip bone and ribs. Getting that side skin contact got me hands free.

Thanks Sair =) And I definitely will post 'em once I get them done. Organizing all this is more of a pain than I thought it would be. Don't know how people do it on a regular basis. Totally worth it, though, I'm so excited~!

I'm trying to organize one of these shoots and I finally found a photographer… yay! I'd like to show him some photos in the style I like and just wanted to get the okay from you ladies before I show off your photos. I particularly like the soft lit B&W ones and the low/side lit color ones with the black background. If you've had 'em done and don't mind me using them as an example, please let me know!

Thanks for the replies ladies!
@lilblondie – I think it might be a back arch issue. i tried it standing in a figurehead on the floor and can almost get it high enough on the shoulder. maybe back needs to be a bit more flexy. hmm
@veena – I know it drops as soon as I hit the bone, not sure about starting it though.
@ember – I used to use the double cup and liked it. But, I sprained my wrist (not pole related) and ever since the double cup tweaks it but the veena grip doesn't. go figure. the twisty is probably out for the same reason, but I'll give it a go
@chemgoddess – I can V and hold if I tuck up, can't SM with a straight leg V yet. I'd already done a bunch of sm's and was super tired when I filmed these.. didn't my super awesome dismount give it away? =P Should I have a straight leg V down before I try aerial?
I'll give all these a try in a couple days when my shoulder de-bruises! If anything else pops into your head in the meantime, let me know!
