I used to get the wrist pain in split grip until someone yelled at me to keep that index finger on the bottom hand pointed. As soon as I started doing that, no more wrist pain. The only time it hurts now is if I forget. It’s such an easy step to forget, but it makes a world of difference!

Haven’t tried the vaulted ceiling mount, but I love my platinum stages pole https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif If you’re not planning on staying in that apartment long term, I’d go for the pole that gives you more height options. Hope you get your pole soon, they’re so much fun!

My pole is finally up, hooray! But oh, the pole burn. Who knew that a few weeks off would make that much difference. If you ever want to head up this way, Meleania, let me know, I’d love to get together and pole sometime. =)

If you can get it started and stick with it, it’s amazing. That situp routine is killer, but makes inverting a breeze. Just be careful doing too much poling after some of those strength training ones. So sore it’s ridiculous. If you need any motivation or anything, let me know. I’ve done it twice already and will probably go through a 3rd set soon (I’m a glutton for punishment). Have fun!

Vitamin E does wonders for scar fading/removal. Just pop open a gel cap and rub it on the scar. It takes time, but they eventually fade like crazy. Even ones that are years old.

think something like this would work for wrists, too? I have an old sprain that tends to flare up just as I’m getting a new trick. =(
