I took the pole stuff (accessories) survey, but skipped the clothing because I don’t really have any ideas or preferences on clothing at this time. I can’t wait to see this site take off!

Also, the whole point was to send the message that the "herd" will mistreat the "individual" for being different. I think the lawsuits, news broadcasts, etc proved that to be true.
I wouldn’t be offended or traumatized if I or my son had seen this on the street. Had she been being nasty and grinding and licking her nipples or something I would be pissed, but this was really just a form of art. I would explain that to my child and secretly thank Eryka Badu for incorporating the nude female body into a video without making it about pleasing a man.

I think that its great for kids to learn how to pole. But I just have to say why would she name the classes sexy flexy?! I really dont think thats a good idea even if they are not teaching them to be sexy. And the newslady was a bitch too. =/
I agree. The names do a disservice and I wouldn’t enroll my 9yr old to a class called "sexy flexy" or "pussycat dawls." I’m all for kids learning pole though!!! -
I have a titanium gold x pole and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I learn on brass at my studio, and owned a stainless steel lil mynx for some time. I finally got sick of the stainless and upgraded to a Titanium Gold and it was the best decision ever.
I always stick, but don’t have problems with spins. I don’t know if spins are easy for me on the TG because I learn on brass at the studio so I’m used to the grippiness. I definately get calluses when I spin on the TG, but I still love it.
I ordered my TG from house of pole on a tuesday night and it was at my door friday morning. House of pole is a distributor of xpole, so your pole comes directly from xpole themselves. -

I was one whos xpert showed up with spots where the gold had rubbed off on numerous pieces including the dome. I called xpole and they shipped out new pieces instantly and I got to keep the other pieces. Now I have a couple extra extensions all because of a couple tiny rubbed off spots. I also had a problem with my spin mode…but I am 99% it had something to do with the rushed way my hubby helped me put it up. We took it down and carefully put it back up again, and no problems.
My point is, they have great customer service and should you run into a problem, you call and speak to a real human and they will take care of it.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my xpert. I owned a lil mynx before and I’m telling you…the xpert is worth the money! I also received the new bottom loading version, which they claim eliminates the problems of stuck pieces. Why don’t you just call them and express your concerns and see if the conversation with them makes you feel better about it? -

These women disgust me. Never in my life have I been so judgemental of another womans choices. What a bunch of female mysogonists hiding behind the label of feminism. Since when does becoming a mom mean you have to be matronly and prudish? The message I get from the "moms can’t be sexy" theme in this forum is that women should only want sex to become mothers, once they are mothers they should let go of their sexual selves because they have accomplished their mission. Makes me puke. That and the fact that pole isn’t any more sexually suggestive than any other dance I watch on shows like "dancing with the stars" or "so you think you can dance".
Some of these comments literally made my mouth drop! So much for the sexual revolution with these "feminists".
In my experience, those who point fingers at others claiming they have no sense of self are the ones who need to do a little soul searching to figure out why they need to put others down to make themselves feel superior.
I guess it never occured to any of them that some of us might teach our SONS how to pole when they are the big enough. Are we then trying to make our sons sex objects for other men? Ridiculous.
