I had the same problem as you…I was SO afraid to let go and lean back! What really helped me was putting pillows underneath me, and staying low to the ground. That way if I did fall I wouldn’t have far to go and it would be a soft landing https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif After I did it a couple times and was more comfortable with letting go I took the pillows away and was able to go further up off the floor. For me it was all in my head. And as Notradaya said, just squeeze as hard as you can with your thighs and you will be just fine https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Veena, you’re so cute! I almost started crying!
My kids’ dad was reading the comments on my last vid and he said "Wow. Everyone is so nice and supportive of eachother. You don’t see that much anymore with women…especially in a sport, women tend to be more competetive." And I completely agree! I am constantly amazed by all the women (and men) on this site, and how genuinely kind, caring, and supportive everyone is. That truly is a rarity these days. I would consider myself lucky to come across one friend like this, but a whole bunch of them in one place…that is a blessing! Thanks Veena for Studio Veena! You have all been such a blessing and I love you guys!!!!

I just got the SM, and actually depending on the day sometimes I can’t do it. lol I don’t count how many situps I do, but I do the 8 minute abs video from the 90’s with the guy in the funny leotard that is too tight (please tell me somebody knows what I am talking about). So I do situps for 8 minutes straight without stopping. Next time I do it I will actually count them so I can give you a number. They are actually more like crunches though, are you talking about a situp where you sit all the way up? That might make a difference. Hope that helps https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I’m not saying you’re pregnant (you might just be stressed), but urine pregnancy tests can be wrong, so when you go to the doctor even if they give you another urine and that comes back negative you might want to ask for a blood test to make sure. That is the only way to know 100%. With my daughter (my second baby) I was 2 weeks late and took 5 urine pregnancy tests…they all said negative. I even bought different brands! When I went in to see the doctor they gave me a urine test, and of course that came back negative too! Craziness! Well I demanded a blood test because I knew something wasn’t right. I remember she gave me such a hard time about it, and so did the gal who drew my blood…"We don’t usually do this". https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif Low and behold, they called me the next morning and told me I was pregnant! Needless to say I found a different doctor after that because she should have been more respectful about my asking for the blood test. And I’m glad I pushed for the it because if I hadn’t she was gonna prescribe some birth control pills for me and that could have hurt my daughter. Yicks! Anyways…so let us know what happens and I hope your doctor’s appointment goes well https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Questions about youtube: First one is if someone’s vid gets taken down "due to terms of use violation", is there a more thorough screening process when they try to upload another vid in the future? And the second question is how many vids have to be taken down before that person’s account is closed? Just curious…I’ve never uploaded anything to youtube so I’m nit sure how all that works.
