i think maybe he feels a little threatened by it sometimes and other times i think he thinks its trashy. i’ve never asked why he doesn’t like to watch me so that’s my own fault. he doesn’t like strippers or strip clubs. and he doesn’t find outright sexiness sexy…he prefers more subtlety. he likes to tell other people i pole dance & he seems proud saying it, but will have nothing to do with it other than occasionally picking me up from the studio after class.

wow- so many great suggestions everyone! thank you all. and Bellz, thanks for sharing your horror story. my mouth dropped open reading that. you are a seriously strong, confident, & courageous woman to throw off that other show & keep going. that is awesome. (i probably would have been thinking of how i could sneak off stage!)

any way you could tell me how thick the heel is on these? i LOVE LOVE LOVE them, but the studio i go to has a policy about shoes, and the heels have to be thicker than the size of a quarter. any way you could compare them to a quarter and tell me if they are thicker?
and, moving on, all of my shoes are ellie and i LOOOVE them. they are so comfortable and i’ve never had a problem with them. i danced 5 days a week for a MINIMUM of 2 hours a day last week in ellies and they held up totally well. i also abusive the hell out of my heels. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_tongue.gifhi freakiel- i just checked & the heel is about the size of a dime at the tip. even if you cant wear them at yr studio, i think you should get them because they are hot https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

i’m a shoe freak. i don’t have these specifically, but i bought 2 pairs of Ellie’s off snaz75 6 months ago & they’ve held up pretty well. i dance 2-3x a week & beat the crap out of my shoes. one pair- http://www.snaz75.com/el-601-lance.html has gotten a little stretched out but no major damage or broken straps & buckles. these are still in good shape- http://www.snaz75.com/el-601-brook.html

my dr (naturopath) gave me liquid vitamin D in a bottle. it makes a huge difference compared to the D tablets. i think its called Bio-D Forte or something like that.

recent faves that i’ve been using in class a lot are Colour Me by Dot Allison, I’ve Been Thinking by Handsome Boy Modeling School, and Moving Forward by Bitter:Sweet. Boom By Anjulie and Starstruck by Santigold are fun ones too.

I think cats like dancing and music. haha… i know that sounds funny but i remember seeing a book somewhere once about dancing with your cats! one of mine definitely like being up high too.
i wish I filmed Booger last night when she was on the couch watching me dance and rolled over on her back & started rolling back & forth pawing the air when I was doing some fan kicks on the floor. It was really cute- it made me laugh. Booger is really sensitive to music though. My boyfriend is a professional singer and she stares up at him and meows while he’s practicing. >^..^< -
