MemberMay 25, 2010 at 4:31 am in reply to: New Pole Dancing Digital Magazine–Six Inch HeelsIt was nice to meet you too Angel. Yes please submit a teach us something video.I counted today that I have 28 days to get July live. So send it soon https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif I’d like some videos to be beginner and I’d also like some that are combos or transitions. But whatever you like to teach will be great.
I’m kinda having pole convention withdrawal. Probably exacerbated by the fact that it’s Monday and I’m back at work.

MemberMay 21, 2010 at 1:29 am in reply to: New Pole Dancing Digital Magazine–Six Inch HeelsI’m so glad you guys like it. I have to say I got a little teary reading your responses. It’s funny because you work on it and really no one has seen it outside of my husband and me. So you hope it’s good and relevant, but you just don’t know. Anyway, I’m babbling. But thank you for your comments. I really appreciate the feedback. Please feel free to continue to send the love https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif and any suggestions for improvement or ideas for upcoming issues.

You’ll have to sign up there and as I found out last night at midnight when it went live for the first time ever, the login process is a little slow. So get a cup of coffee and enjoy the peace that comes from creating an internet login.
House of Pole/Sissy Buns has a column with featured shoes. So be sure to check that out!

You might look at the book, Candy Girl: A Year In The Life Of An Unlikely Stripper by Diablo Cody, the screenwriter of Juno. I haven’t read it. I read the first chapter when I was visiting someone. So I can’t really comment on the content.
You should comment let us know what you find.

I like Victoria Secrets cheekier though I wish the crotch was just a little bit wider. They technically don’t have a waist band. So that’s good. Cheeky can also nice.

I love pole dancing and it has been great for my strength and fitness but more importantly just for me. Life is short. Try everything you can. I notice your first post of this question was a couple of weeks ago. I hope by now you’ve taken a class or bought Veena’s lessons and will soon have an update for all of us.

I have the tacky kind (that sounds funny). I like them a lot but I cannot spin with them. I use them solely for learning new tricks that require extra grip or that I think will be easier with extra grip.
Mine have been beautified by Stella Bella. She took off the tacky (and I mean the real kind of tacky) mighty grip logo which looked a little like a logo for a tonka truck and then added rhinestones. If you are interested. Let me know and I’ll forward it on to Stella. She rocks

Do you guys have victoria’s secret? I get most of my dance shorts there. They have cheeky, cheekier and cheekiest (which is really a thong). Personally, i like cheekier. I’ve also gotten some at Target, again just in the panty section. Sadly though. . .these won’t have long ties on the side

for gemini: I suggest getting into that position then using your hands pull your body slightly toward the pole. Then see if you can release your hands (keep them close just in case https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif ). This helped me to find the "sweet spot." Also it’s easier if you have your skin showing.
With any inverted move, its a good idea to invert and then let your self slide down a little so you are closer to the floor. again just in case. I also think it gives you more confidence to try letting go.sometimes if my skin seems really slippery, I put on some aloe vera (the kind that looks like green jello). It moisturizes, but also makes your skin a little sticky.
