Try out the positioning from kneeling on the floor first, using a mirror to correct yourself.
Pay close attention on your hips as mentioned by runemist.

At the Xpert training they told us that some people might have allergic reactions when using a chrome pole due to a nickle allergy. They suggested the stainless steel pole instead.

I know studios in Germany who use it so it must be on the market at least in europe.
It basically is a vaulted ceiling mount with a recieving unit.

When I teach, I usually do
Warm up and some strength (pull up crunch, pole row, …) before I start with pole moves.
Some people find it really hard to do spins, so I usually start with
    Pole walk
    Turns, pirouettes
    Body wave
Some simple transitions to the floor
    Floorwork
When I start with spins I usually do in this order:
    Plie Spin
    Galopp Spin
    Back V-Spin
    Fireman
    Back Hook

They won’t sell them before the middle of august, so that’s probably why they don’t have them on their website yet.
I haven’t seen the pole sleave so can’t compare to those but they won’t be removable! You don’t have to buy a whole new pole though, I think they said you can buy the a- and -poles plus extensions only.

I played on it at FIBO and it’s awesome!
Feels and looks like the materials used for silicone sex toys.
It’s so sticky I could do stuff I can’t on a regular pole like iguana mount, even though it was really thick (55mm I guess). They have them smaller tough.
And yes, you can have them as a stage pole.

I really love the pole physics body lotion. I think it’s a wonder product 😀

  • Hi!

Well, my Xpert is bowed. I also bought it used.
The bow causes the pole to not spin very smooth. Last week I took it down and after putting it up again, it was even worse; there was a clicking noise and the resistance was even worse.
I had to think about it a little bit, and figured, that my ground isn't really even as well. When I rotated the base 180 degrees, it was like it was before. Not perfect, but a little better.

My friend and I have a fun game: we wrote down all moves we can do. Then we pick a song and one of us is freestyling to it. The other one picks a move from the list which has to be executed. It doesn’t have to be the next move, you can add just as many things in between as you like, but you have to do it before the song is over.
That way you get to do moves you otherwise wouldn’t think of, and it helps to get stuck and not knowing what to do next. And it let’s you get creative while you dance!

I had the chance to play on a ssa last weekend (with extension 3m high) and I must say that I like the XStage much better.
The ssa wasn’t spinning smoothly but rather in an ellipsis and it was much more wobbly than the XStage, especially on top! I didn’t want to do any inverted stuff on spin mode.

Panther thing I disliked was the extension: it was just a little bit smaller in diameter so you could feel the intersection. Also, the edges weren’t as smooth as Xpole’s.

What I did like though was the platform. Much more quiet! And the option to add light sticks (was the white one) is really cool!

    Thanks Donna,

I just ordered Private Dancer, The Exotic Dance Workout and Exotic Dance – The Irresistible Art, they had those on eBay. If I like them, I’ll get the Stripper Dance as well.

Yes I can, but straightening the leg and only hooking with the ankle really scares me! But I’ll keep trying.
