You can see most of my tattoo in this picture: https://www.studioveena.com/photos/view_photo/523c9d59-c370-4e70-9e09-06f40ac37250
I’m going to get it extended and colored in 2015 (I have an appointment already) by a lady who does tattoos that look like water color: http://www.queegqueg-tattoo.de/wp-content/galleries/jessica/engel.jpg
In that tattoo I am going to hide some pole-related stuff: A star filled with zebra-fur which is our studio’s logo, an number 13 in a heart because I love Alethea and the saying “no pain, no gain” to remind me that I need to work hard.

At our studio, we have “you can do anything with the right shoes” above our mirrors.

Just in case if something happens, no one can say “You knew about her injury, how could you have tought her?”
Well she did answer now, telling me that my prices are too high.
I’m kind of relieved and hope to not have to teach her again. She has a very consuming personality (Do you say it like this in Eglish? Sorry for my poor language skills). Had some issues before when she ordered her pole, but that’s a different story. -
You girls are awesome!! Thanks!
Actually I tried eros the other day (without noticing that this would be a nice transition to star gazer) but it really scares me, I don’t know why. Needs some work I guess. Especially going into tornado. Scary! But I love that combo!
Totally forgot about the ckr! That’s a nice one too and I did transition to that before, just forgot it…
Need to try the remi sit!
Again, thanks ladies!

Now that I’ve calmed down a little I wrote her, asking when she wanted to do the private (and if it comes to that point, take on your advice and work on “conditioning climbing and inverting”, the crucifix, caterpillar and butterfly) and let her know that I need a doctor’s note that she’s fine. She replied that she can’t get an appointment that fast but is fine and doesn’t understand why I need that, and I then asked her to sign a paper that says that the training is on her own risk and that training is non-hazardus.
She then replied that she cannot understand that and I explained to her that I need that sort of assurence for liability reasons and don’t want to get sued if anything happens, especially as her wishes are quite risky.
She didn’t reply to that and I hope we are through.
The fact that she doen’t want to sign anything or bring a doctor’s note – for me – shows perfectly, that there still might be some issues. What do you think?

Propably because that really gets my goat.Forgot to add, I knew her before we opened the studio. She’s a collegue in “real life”. I wouldn’t consider her a friend, but still. It makes it harder to just turn her away. I don’t want to upset her.

Feeling slightly upset/confused/discouragedIt’s always hard to take a position in things when you haven’t been there personally, but as far as you are telling your side of the story, yes, she could have said things differently and a lot nicer.
It’s a no-go (even if it’s justified) to make such comments in front of everyone else. A teacher should be able to encourage their students.
Might be that you are not ready for the handstands-stuff, but in that case she could just have helped you and show you some techniques to get better at them.
Maybe you could talk to the teacher who advised the workshop to you and tell her that you didn’t feel very comfortable with the other’s teaching style?

At my studio I have all three, 40, 45 and 50. I have only one girl enjoying the 50, she is really tall and has big hands. Most go for the 45. Some girls with small hands like the 40, but sometimes have problems with leg grip. So my suggestion would also be 45.

I try to go to the sauna at least once a month.
We have a really nice place with a beautyfully themed garden with different saunas and I love spending a whole day there. In between the sauna I’m reading, getting treatments, like massage or rasul, have a snack or a nap. Very relaxing! It’s like being on vacation for one day.
If I don’t have the time for a whole day I sometimes go after work for a few ours or take a long bath at home.

As some of you might know, I’m really struggling with flexibility. I only made it 4 inches closer to the floor since I startet (Dec 2012).
Since shipping from the US takes some time and is quite expensive, could someone please try to explain what this technique is about so I can sort out if that method might be covered in some of the exercises I already know, to find out if I need that book or the DVD.
Thanks!
