I did Xpert and I really liked it. I think it was worth the money.

That’s what they look like!

I don’t know if you have these in the states, but in Germany you can buy adhesive pads to put in the clothing in every drugstore. If you can’t get something like that, you could just take thin panty liners and cut them in the right size!
Good luck & I bet you’ll do great!
Keep in mind that the audience doesn’t know your routine and probably has no clue about hammock so as long as you’re not falling onto your head they will be impressed! -
The patent got ripped off of the top of my shoes (the climbing spot) after only maybe 6 hours of use. So I can’t recommend patent at all! Also, the paint starts to wear off at the platform.
My other shoes, totally clear, seem to last forever. -
Hi!
I have no clue where to buy in the UK but I have another advice: Get a pair with clear top!! Yesterday I damaged one of my shoes with patent top after maybe 6 hours of use only! I knew they wouldn’t be as durable as the clear ones, but only 6 hours of use is really disappointing 🙁
The patent just ripped off of the climbing point. -
Why not get a photoshoot of yourself and get some of those printed? I have a friend who is a hobby photographer and my friend and I had a shoot on tfp (time for pictures) basis, so it was free!
The deal is that you spend your time as a model for free, and they can use your photos for their portfolio, but of course you get the image files as well.
Maybe check some internet forums for photography and see if anyone is interested?
You can check my gallery for the results! -
By the way, pole set up is so much faster. I don't take it apart when I take it down and drew a circle with a pencil on my floor so I know where the base has to go. So I just have to put the whole pole into the block mount, find the circle on the floor and turn it until it's tight.
I have the old style block mount, the new one is this one: http://xpoleus.com/store/xpert-block-mount-404550mm-silver-p-622.html (unfortunately a little more expensive).

Just took a picture and uploaded it to my gallery. Hope this helps!

You don’t need to get the vaulted ceiling mount. Xpole sells a blockmount which would work perfect. I have one myself (I can take a picture if you like) and my pole is spinning so much smoother and faster, because you don’t have to tighten it as much.
