MemberDecember 13, 2011 at 11:55 pm in reply to: Call for Pole Performers – Art & Pole Showcase featuring Phoenix KazreeA portion of the profits from this event will be donated to the Mawi Family and Kai Family Memorial Funds. Over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, there was a tragic accident which impacted 8 Frederick High School students. The mother of one student is in intensive care with a long road to recover.
The Mawi family which consists of 4 sisters at FHS and a younger brother at WFMS lost their mother in the car accident. They had no other living parent or guardian, therefore the oldest sister Tuan Mawi who is 19 years old (senior who will graduate this year from FHS) has taken custody of her siblings. Two other students, a brother and sister (Kai Family) lost their aunt who was their only guardian in the accident as well. They have an elderly grandmother and their church pastor has taken them in to his home.
Please help us make this a successful event to help provide assistance to these children whose lives were sadly, suddenly and forever changed.

Thanks for your inquires! We will be able to accept up to 20 numbers at this point. At this stage, yes, the submission should be the same routine if possible. Performers will be notified with 48 hours of receiving the submission. We will know when we see it…no need to wait for all entries.
The use of 2 poles is not required in the video submission, nor the in the actual performance. Using 2 poles is an option.

Yes…the venue is included in the post…the Frederick Indoor Sports Center, which is located in Frederick, MD. It is not limited to local polers…just more convenient for them. For polers willing to travel, great!
