Thanks for all the help I’ve never tried the prince grip stuff have dry hands and all the others even the gorilla grip tacky towel cause one place I went to briefly used it and it had good grip. So will def look it up and try. So Windex and steaming are the ways to go cleaning wise glad I thought to ask cause always have a spray bottle by ny stage now and wouldn’t want to forget and use on the sv pole. Does it come in a standard height and can be made shorter or can you order any height even say 12 ft if was using in room with very tall ceilings and do all I need to do is find the stud with a stud finder to install it? Sorry for all the questions I always think of something else after I have already asked something lol

With it being powder coated what can you use to clean it plan on getting one soon have x stage lit and believe its stanless steel could be wrong lol I was in such a rush to order and it was my first pole so didn’t want to wait for the brass. But find I slip alot so want to get the veena pole but don’t want to mess it up.also what is the normal height that it comes in since its one piece and add attachments.

I used connections last year and at the beginning of this year switched to k12 because they are alot more strict when it cones to deadlines and assignments. Connections is alot more flexible with that they also provide envelopes so if the student has to mail any assignments in unlike k12. K12 is a very different school still fighting with them to give them their supplies that UPS is trying to charge me 15 per box and I have 6. With connections I just drop off at UPS and that’s it shipping covered. Plus it was harder reaching the teachers heard from them more when I was trying to unenroll then when the kids went there. With connections I have traveled numerous times to Nc and Va even Pa and never had a problem as long as the kids had a computer since it is online and you have till midnight to have work done. Once a year you have to make sure you log on at the normal school time and they let you know when because the state checks that day for attendance. But besides that day there are days when so busy my kids will get on fir a live lesson and then wont get back on to complete assignments till late. My youngest just started having seizures right before Christmas so have alot of doctor appointments. Teacher call ins are usually once a month just to touch base and see if you need any help. It is state school just not brick and mortar but a lot more flexible plus it helps with having everything laid out so that you know they are getting the state required curriculum which can be difficult if were doing on your own. It also helps that its state recognized curriculum if you ever decide to go back to brick and mortar school since you know your child has received the proper information to make the transition easy and no confusion when it comes to grade placement like some ppl might have when they did the older types of homeschool. But like what was said each person has different opinions give it a try if you see not working for you can always take out and put back into traditional school.

Just make sure that if you are going to go through connections academy that you sign up because I know here they have a cap at how many students per grade they have and don’t want to miss out. Good luck and always here to answer questions.

As long as you have a computer and internet can do anywhere. So can travel with no problems plus they get days off through the year not including holidays so if you forget to do work one day or just want to have a break day can use a vacation day. Its a really good program and even have gifted programs so that is a good thing if any of your kids are advance in any subject. There is also fieldtrips can do to meet other students you can attend but not mandatory. So connections academy is also available in Vegas? If so I would go with them.

I homeschool three kids ages 7 in the second grade, 10 in the fourth late birthday lol and 11 in the sixth and I use online public school alot of states have them now. I use connection academy and have tried k12 both are good. They have teachers and lessons planned out fir them each day live lessons each week and teacher call ins. Its just online they send you all the materials you will need and you work at your own pace as the parent you just make sure they do the work answer questions if they need help and if you can’t reach the teacher. But that is usually not a problem. If your state has state testing they will tell you where to go so that they can take the test needs for the state. They can work as fast or as slow as they need to and can do some hrs computer and rest with things you give them ex. Nature walk can be used for science hrs and math work sheets you give them for math. Find that I really like it if I travel all I need to do is take a lap top and make sure have internet because they even have the books online if you need to use them. I have been doing it for two yrs started after moving to Ga and my kids were bullied by other kids and even teachers. Look online for online public schools for your state and they will pop up and they are free. And recognized by your state as being state approved schools hope this helped if have anymore questions let me know happy to help.

Ok so I’m 5″11 weight (under construction) lol so which would’ve better for my height? Also hoping not to have to use big bolts in the ceiling since I rent and well they are A holes about alot can’t even put up a chin up bar in door frame A. Scared will break door frame B they would flip if a happened. And trust me I have been looking for new places but nothing in my price range big enough so saving up to move back up north.

Thanks for all the feedback now I’m wanting both lol but that might just be wasteful money wise. I do like that the omni has the stand and so versital so I will probably look that way. With kids when I get extra money and don’t have anything they need to get I usually try and get myself something which is rare lol. With my luck though after I get something then fly gym will come out with a stand.

Mine too wanted to do expo as well but I’m a single mom so not sure can afford both plus have a sitter both times. Then there’s pole camp in saint martin. Althea austins chrome bar workshops and fifty million other events. My goal is to just try and get to at least one a year so that way in a few yrs can say I’ve experienced them all lol.

MemberJanuary 14, 2014 at 7:57 pm in reply to: Too Early? Bouncing Room Ideas for PoleConWell I would be interested I would love to go and like you not going with anyone and will know no one there so it would be cool to have at least one person to sit with at the end of the day and go over all the stuff that went on lol. Is the hotel you pocked cheaper then the hotel where the event is? Doesn’t matter with me which hotel as long as close in debating on driving or just just flying in.
