I agree with you, from all the community (of all kind) i saw, this by far the most respectful place to hang around. And i had the chance to meet some veener in real life and even become close friends with them. So it's not just a website but a real online family https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Sarahb69 use to have a brass pole…i can't pole on it at all. I have a great grip with my hands but can't hold myself at all with any part of my body. Same thing last years on the x-stage brass at the showcase. They had to cover me with itac so i could do anything. You have to know that the brass is plated too and some girls had a bad surprise after tryinjg a little of brasso on it.

As for the powdwer coat if you can try it, that would be good. Even if you can't buy one you can look to have your pole powder coated when nickel shart to show, would be less expensive than buying a new one. One of the girl here did and she have a beautiful purple pole now.

@Lyme i did try underarms, there a ouch factor for sure and you might want to put some talc before. I was so nervous and afraid it hurt that i was sweating like crazy, making the silk-epil stick to my skin lol. As for the girliy parts unless you want the "all clean up" look you can use it too. I never had the courage to do more than bikini lol

At first there a ouchie factor yes lol but after a few time it was a lot better and doing it when you just jump out of the shower help a lot too. Just remember that when having you period it can be a little bit more sensitive just like it would be with lazer or wax

If you have a little bit of patience i say go with a Silk-Epil or any or those machine that pull the the hair out. It last  as long as wax, without the burn and i have patch that never grew back even if i stop using it years ago. Oh yes i'm lazy when it come to my legs and when hair are really long it don't go as well, i need to get back at it. Because i'm pretty sure that i would have not much left now if i had kept doing it.

Oh yes, sliding, kicking the pole, bruises…more slide and more bruises. At some point we all look at that damn pole and ask ourself " what was on my mind?" I spend the first 2 months looking like i had been hit by a truck lol. I fell on my face trying stupid trick. Or end up stoping pole for months because i don't feel the inspiration anymore.

But it come back, you'll get stronger, it will be less painful and even the crazy trick don't seem that crazy and don't hurt (much) anymore. Someday you will realise that the move you could only dream of,you can do it. I remember how amaze i was when i first saw a knee hold and thinkning to myself that if i ever got there that would be the top and i could die happy. Well it's been check from a list a long time ago but i remember well how much it hurt at the time.

The girls here are really supportive because they know what we go through, especially when we start. We've been there too, it's not just you. And keep in mind that it's not the destination, it's the journey…Good luck https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif
