I’m sold too x-pole even if it’s the only one i’ve try https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif Mine is chrome and i’m happy to have static and spin even if i can work on spin really well. At first it’s a little more slippery but with time it get better, and i clean it with rubbing alcool. As for putting it down i only do it after 3-4 months and never had problem yet (it’s pretty new). I do check it evey week but for right now seem it take a lot of time to get loose. And the class where i went she didn’t have to retight then more then one a month so it repend on how well you put it at the first time i guess.
As for the pink one i think they’re Little Minx, some girl really love it but i was needing something that i wouldn’t have to screw and i’m not sure about those.
Good luck with your pole shopping.

The best advice i could give you is take Veena lesson if you can afford it (not expencive) because you will know what move to do first and how do it safely. I learn by myself for 2 month at the beginning and i know i skip some step and in the long term it doesn’t help me.
Strech a lot before and after poling, don’t try to go too fast and learning a lot of things in the first month even spins are not safe if you’re not strong enough. I had to stop poling for a couple of day at the beginning because i hurt my back a few time. And one last thing…don’t pole every day, take a day off you will improve a lot more if you let your body rest.
Go take a look at the new 2 pole section in the forum you will get a lot of helpful tips and good poling https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I took 1h class then get back home with my pole. The class are almost 2h from home so there’s no way i can’t spend that kind of money and time on it. The first 2 month i have learn with utube but felt it difficult to know what i should learn firts and sometime wasn’t sure about the safety of some move.
Since then i got Veena lesson and really love it. I can do it when i want (when boys are not home) and it’s explain so well. And so friendly that you don’t feel like you have to be perfect from the beginning, it’s like having a friend sharing tips.
Maybe later i would like to try class with advanced moves or more transition (maybe dance class) but for now i’m quite happy with the way i learn.
