The fear of not facing the pole with bending backwards always got me… until…

I learned this move by accident. I was doing a shoulder stand and my legs went into the fang position allowing me to hook just before my knees and then I just proceeded gently up, first by kinda walking my arms out then I just did a sit up.

This is a hard move and as you can tell, many of us have had problems with it also. Just keep with it and one day you will be able to do and comfortibly. This is now one of my favorite moves to do since it allows me to do the cresent.

im in!! maybe i will try restarting the P90 program again….I stopped doing it after a month and 2 weeks cause my bf was complaining too much! but now hes gone to work in another state so I have no excuses.

honey nut cheerios is a good start!! Im trying to stick to whole grains and fish diet. (not working to well yet) but when I am able to stick to it I find more energy to do more cardio exercises. But with doing pole I find it a win/lose thing with weight. When I pole alot I find that I gain the muscle weight but when I take some time off and do alot of cardio helps for losing the weight. make up your own schedule something that your bound to stick to! good luck!!

we call this the chopper and our helicopter is done on the floor. This is part of our level 2 graduation requirements.

I hear that every great dancer out there started with a millon rejects before getting the acceptence. I also know im not that good yet since ive only been doing this for 3 months now but I think by 6 months at the rate im going I will be good to go. So why not go ahead and get a head start on the rejects so that by next year when I choose to enter some of the bigger competetions, I will have some knowledge of whats its like to be in one. Ive never competed in anything and if I started something my mother would always take me out, so its a nice feeling to be doing something for myself and knowing that she cant take me out of it!!

Im glad to know more studios are doing little home state contests like this one. Its not only great for the pole studio but also the community. It gives us girls with no experience a chance to shine and be part of something bigger than ourselves. So thanks for putting it on!!

I was wondering if theres any fees for people entering competion? And are tricks allowed in the amature division? Im thinking of entering but im scared guess i will wait and see how my graduation performance goes next week.

This video was in the news here in dallas for a while. But I must admit it made her famous. The news had problems with it since they didnt get any permits or cleared the area of the children. Many people are sueing her for being naked and how it has tramatized their children. The message is good but there are so many other ways of getting it across or atleast to do it legally.
