I find pics of tricks a bit pointless; I get excited to see a beautiful set of moves whether that’s simple stuff done gracefully or dazzling tricks. I want to see it as part of a dance, how it flows, how the dancer got in and out of it and how it was used to express something to music.

I get motivated to work hard on simple things like flatline Scorpio if I can see how it is the launching pad for a beautiful extended move, or the foundation of an elegant combo. If it can’t be danced into and out of again I am not interested.

So tutorials, clips of dances are motivating.
‘Look at me doing some crazy thing’ – meh.

This Marion Crampe clip has really motivated me recently – some amazing tricks but the grace and lyricism in the simple movements is actually more inspirational for me https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10152492465939870&id=97193519869&ref=stream

Ha yes it was in with his train set track extensions :-/ now locked in my underwear drawer. Well, good luck with it. How incredibly tiresome.

Sorry those are extensions not x joints – I took 2 short extensions to 9feet off and used one larger extra extension with supplied x joint. So can’t show x joint without disassembling pole. But packaging and hex keys should be same?

Does one x joint 7” one /180mm one have one half longer than other and arrow marked on it? This goes at tip with arrow pointing up.
The x joints don’t all look same …

I would need to take mine apart to check if it’s same as yours. Did you use hex keys alternately in slots so half turn one hole half turn other hole, repeat, repeat, gently opening/closing rather than fully contact/expand one end then tackle the next?

    Sorry not explaining too well

It looks like my new (June) chrome x pert
Base not plastic wrapped, but pole was.
Black hex keys, expAnd/contract on x joints.

It’s genuine far as I can see…did you get the instruction booklet with it? Seriously take it to bed and read it, after watching the vid. Stuff on there that’s not on vid.

That’s a good idea! Thanks Lucca.
I find I have no appetite straight after training then hungry about an hour+ later by which time am usually busy driving to collect son from preschool or whatever. I guess I could stick a hard boiled egg in a thermos flask to keep it cool and stick it in my purse…

I have never found a protein drink that doesn’t make me gag (thick smoothies and milk shakes also make me gag, it’s a sensory thing) but I know I really need to increase protein as am training 5+ times week and am now very low body fat and starting to lose muscle mass. 🙁 I do not want to lose any weight.

    So my question is…
Can I just eat a few big handfuls of raw nuts for protein after training instead and wash it down with water and a banana? I really don’t have time to prepare special drinks or snacks after training as am usually rushing out door still wet from shower afterwards…nuts, water and banana are transportable.

Yes gel, rub in like body lotion as the lady says. I was like ‘this’ll never work, have to shower and scrub pole but hey hi’ – but it worked ! Everywhere but hands. I washed hands with baby soap after applying and spritzed hands with rubbing alcohol I use to clean pole. Then hit jade after jade after jade. Previousjy the humidity had me slipping off after 10 seconds in any no hands hip hold.

Can you tell I am excited??!!

I used it on my tricep/underarm grip and all over my waist hips too – as well as knee pit. It totally worked.

    Ok will shut up now.

Dry hands on hands. And lots of wiping on shorts – which is why I wear husband’s cotton boxers or trunks rolled down for home practice lol! I keep Lycra shorts for a/c studio.

I tried Nivea for men sensitive skin shave gel for jade practice yesterday and big thumbs up! Not on hands though! But spent 5 mins in hip hold and didn’t budge – not bad in 80f!

Whoops that’s not it in Veena vid but it is in Aerial Amy, if I’m thinking of the move you mean.
