I wish Gabby all the best in healing. I have started to read her blog and will read more tonight. Writing about PTSD can be a hugely powerful force for recovery and reclamation and reintegration of pieces that feel broken: as one rape and PTSD survivor to another I say to her – never feel that you should be silent when you need to speak your truth – and tell your story as often as you need to and be assured that you deserve to be heard, and heard, and heard. Justice starts with truth, and truth starts with telling.

I like Aerial Amy a lot. Also Sveindis.com.
up artists have good blogs too.
Will elaborate more but have to make dinner for hungry child -
Sports bras I want 4 things:
– not too low cut because when inverting I want breasts to stay inside!
– cut to take my increased musculature into account – many sport bras cut into my lats
– spider back/strappy back to show off muscular back
– wash wellShorts: I want
– wide gusset preferably diamond shaped.
– scrunch tie sides to adjust cheekiness/shortness
– fold down wide waistband
– wash wellNot bothered about non-cotton as unlike regular underwear I am not spending hours in pole wear. I want it to absorb sweat and hold its shape more than I want breathable cotton.
Sets of shorts and bras – I would choose coordinated rather than exactly matching. A mix and match set of 3 shorts and 2 bras that all work together would encourage me to buy the lot!…
Good luck with your venture! Great you asked polers for their input pre-launching!

It happens to me.
Sooooooo…I avoid Ayesha and all twisted grip moves and condition my shoulders and core a lot by doing a lot of head stands and elbow stands and forearm stands and side planks and planks. There is a lot of great pole moves and convos that don’t involve or need Ayesha. Now and again I try it but it always feels unsafe. -
I know you have a Veena Tips already on how to put a routine together – ðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ‘Œbut the number of dancers I know who get into a sweat about actually creating a dance – whether freestyle or choreographed – as opposed to trick or training practice – I think a talk on finding your freestyle, and how to put a routine together, and how they are different but mutually beneficial things to work at would be great.

The flip after the sad girl drop? I would just say Reverse grab to flip – one of many pole flips
Don’t think it has name, maybe Anastasia flip?
Here is someone doing it on Instagram – search #poleflip and #poleflips hashtag https://instagram.com/p/91sqDiIgW9/ -
Well done Gena! Well deserved!

I am going to upload something here just for fun but I don’t put any pole stuff on FB and I don’t have a Twitter account. I use IG and SV for all my pole and yoga stuff. Hoping to do a solo one as well but in the meantime me and my doubles partner did a very quick vid which is messy but fun!🎃

I didn’t know you did corde lisse Veena! That was awesome!

Just wanted to wish you well. I hope you can find a safe outlet for your feelings whilst you heal. Injuries are horrible but you will come back from this, you will dance again and we are always here to listen. Take care of yourself.
