Flex: You had a lot of good things to say and I know what you’re talking about. I wish you were a little bit closer to where I lived! Miss Pole was better in the old studio. The new studio is beautifull but they have 12 poles and therefore 12 students and I do think they are not as nice as the smaller classes. Also the quality of the class depends on the teacher. I have had classes with four different teachers at misspole and one of them was amazing and the other three, though good pole dancers just were not the best teachers. And I mean no offence to any of them. It’s just my opinion.

Ennifer, I’m sure no matter where you are there will be bakeries that are not as good as others. I’m working to be a pastry chef and can’t wait to visit France!
I wish I could go to a pole night at a bar too. Everyone I know who has gone says they are lots of fun!

Andrea, do you know if Blush has an open night where you can go and check it out?

Hi Ballerina! I don’t speak Spanish much at all but I have a friend who does! She also is at a beginner level. Maybe I could talk her into joining this site https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Oh that’s too bad you had to stop but I’m sure France was worth it! How cool! And you should def go to Ireland! It really is a wonderfull friendly place. I want to go to France! Is the bakery as wonderfull as they say?
I’m not quite 20 and have not yet had a chance to do an open pole night but I would love to!
If it’s an open pole at the studio I don’t think you have to be 21. But I’m not sure..

Hi Ennifer! How do you like misspole? I think their new curriculum is pretty good but unfortunatley I think I’m going to have to take the winter off. Where are you studying? I just got back from studying in Ireland. It was a great experience and lots of fun!

Hi Flexx I would love to come and join you on open pole night sometime!

    Thanks for the welcome Calipolepixie!

Thanks for all the great ideas everyone! I have had the chance to just work on some wall and floor moves this week and can’t wait to go to my lesson tomorrow and try some of the other ideas out. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

That’s a great idea! I’m gonna make sure I do that. I deffinitely need to break the habit of just standing up again any old way and going on to another pole move.

Katk- My first session of classes we learned a routine but now they changed their program and now just want us to freestlye and make it our own. In a way that is nice I just wish it had a little more structure. I’m trying to work on a little routine to try next week!

Trixie- What you said about visualization made a ton of sense! I even do that before a piano performance I don’t know why I didn’t think to do that for this.

Journey- Thanks for sharing that idea with me. I’ll have to see if I can take a poster board to class with me.

Polergirl- I’ll have to make sure I just do floor and wall work to a song. I guess practice will eventually make it better!
I just wish it would happen a little faster. Lol

No facebook. I allways think I should start one and then never get around to it. I really like miss pole. I’m actually from West Bend If you know where that is? And I think brookfield might be too far to go if the weather gets bad this winter. Do you like blush? Is that accross from the state fair grounds?

Hi Loopy, I have a cousin who lives in SC! She likes the weather there better than in WI.

Hi Studio Veena! Thanks for the welcome https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Hi Andrea, I kinda sorta know where Mukwonago is. Lol! Yeah, I’m not so great with directions https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_redface.gif I take classes at Miss Pole in Brookfield. Is Mukwonago just a bit farther south? I have no room for a pole at home but I love going to the studio and getting away from everything for a while. Do you take classes?
