Katie, depends on how much texture there is. When ppl say popcorn ceilings it can mean just a bit of fleck, other times its tons of it.

Hi! Wash your hands with a degreasing soap before training. Try grip aid products like dry hands, tight grip, Carpe lotion.

Here’s a list of topics on the website about this as well https://www.studioveena.com/searches/facet/discussions?s=sweaty+hands

Ps feel free to leave a comment or questions directly on any of the lessons. It’s quicker/easier for you than coming here to the discussions to post. 💜

Hi! There is no warm up for that day. We are only working on feet so it’s not needed 🐾 🙂 Think of it as an active rest day.

Dang that’s not good. Glad he was ok! The only pole that’s fallen was my first, a permeant mount stainless steal. We didn’t account for the compression of the carpet when measuring.

I always use a mount, mostly because I need to remove my pole often at my new place. My new pro (with the xlock) is creaky and the screws come loose at the bottom all the time. I have to tighten them every time I dance. Never really had the problem with my old poles. The finish isn’t holding up well either. It’s very scratched (brass) I’ve had over 10 poles in my dance life and including 2 brass one xpole the other Platinum stages. I’ve never had it scratch so bad.

I’ve not noticed it come loose, but that might be because I do take it down almost weekly to film and do other things in my space. The carpet really shouldn’t be a problem if you’ve accounted for the extra compression. I’d put it up, use it for a session then tighten it again. No matter the pole it’s always good to check it before you use it. https://www.instagram.com/tv/B78uhn0h_Nb/

PS a mount will make your pole spin faster and smoother too!

Hi! You’ll see the lessons you’re supposed to click on to complete the days tasks below the main video.

If you’re using full screen you’ll need to exit out of that to see all the videos.

The app is no longer available. Our website is fully mobile so there’s no need for the app.

Hi Laura! Are you following one of the programs here and you’re one day 5? or is it just the 5th day you’ve tried pole dance? Either way congrats! As the girls said, doing things where you hold your body weight is a big deal. Building up the strength you need to hold yourself takes weeks, or months. Keep working on the lessons in order, or use a program to help you with strength building.

We all look different and move differently. That’s good! We tend to see the things nobody else will ever notice or care about. Our own worst critic! Pole can transform not only your physic but also how you view yourself as a whole. Keep at it and think of how amazing your body is because soon you’ll be able to hold your body weight! Not everyone can say that!

PS I’ve been pole dancing over 12 yrs and I don’t do pole work and tricks for more than an hour. It’s hard work 🙂

Quancutie, it’s not that simple. There is a cost to having a video chatroom and it’s not just something to just switch on. Financially it wasn’t’ worth keeping because people started using IG and FB instead. We had tried to bring it back, I think it was 4 yrs ago, but it still didn’t get used.

Back in the day, before everyone started using IG we had Friday night chat every week! It was fun. Times change and so we must change too.
