Two good ones that work a lot of the major muscle groups are the pole up, and a push up. Shoulders are important to strengthen so he is a video I did a while back that will help with that.

Oh there are so many that come to mind. Do you have a fit ball? Those big exercise balls? If you get one of those there are soooo many exercises you can do with them for abs and more! I also have ab and back exercises in my online lessons. You want to make sure your working all muscle groups, exercising only the abs and not the low back can cause low back pain. So my 2 questions for you are… do you have a fit ball or the lessons? I can help you better if I know. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

I have had this problem, it will go away with time. Remember you put a LOT of stress on your hands in pole dance and your hands have tendons and muscles too. As you learn how hard to grip it will get better. Just be sure you are warming up your hands and wrist well before dancing, I have cold hands all the time so it seems to take forever to get them warm, but if I skip warming my hands I pay for it the next day. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

Awww Foxy….I’m sorry you had an off night! Your always welcome to share your pole woes with us. Take it from me EVERYONE has bad pole practice days. If the tricks aren’t coming to you that day well don’t stress, ( yes I tell you not to stress but it gets my panties in a bunch too! ) you had the right idea when you said maybe you should have just done some stretching. Your body knows when its had too much, and learning to listen to it, and not push can be a hard thing to do. I’m still working on that myself https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif
As for your friend, sounds like Rouge is right! Single people do tend to forget all the preparation that goes into going out for a mom. I’m guessing its just the combination of the bad practice, hubby and friend all getting you down at once. Cheer up! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif I think your doing dandy https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif -
Oh my, adamseve you’ve made me blush https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_redface.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_redface.gif As I said before thank you all! All of you are sooooo sweat!!! xoxox

I was wondering if a "tech head" thread is in order, perhaps a subbie under not pole related.
Purely for those who need the advice of a boffin, be it on computers, editing, "art direction", lighting, editing programmes or other non-pole related stuff. Mr Rouge (Dave) has been helpful so far and I’m sure I can ask him lots more.
I’m happy to advise on technical issues surrounding lighting of vids etc, how to dress rooms and advice on costumes, having a bit of a film background. Dave has a technical editing skills, mainly Final Cut editing on a Mac but a little on Sony Vegas, and I can ask him questions.
Thoughts? Feedback??
Hi, good suggestion I created a forum for that! TECH RELATED and its under EVERYTHING ELSE -
or maybe have a repeat option?
If you want to see the same lesson again you can just click the play button again. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif Thanks for the suggestions. -
You can also "get the feel" for the inverted thigh hold, by lowing yourself down so you are close enough to the floor to place your hands down and then work on the leg positions without falling on your head! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif Follow the positioning advice mrstrone gave you. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumleft.gif

I just purchasede my e-pole today from this site and I was also wondering if there was any way to keep track of my order. I would just like to be sure that there was one in stock and estimated date of delivery.
I’m guessing you meant your X pole?? Everything is in stock right now, and we also will be sending out your tracking info. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif -

X pole has sent all of the distributors notices to watch for fake X poles off Ebay….there have been a lot of unhappy people who wound up getting ripped off buying that way. We have free shipping here and you know we are the real deal!!
