Tips for uploading to the website. Use the terms challenge and August in your video TITLE! This will allow everyone to find it quickly. If filming on your phone try using an app to compress the video I use this app called VidCompact to upload from my phone to other websites and here.

I’m trying to help by not encouraging people to use hashtags in my challenges….my personal IG was fine until I joined a pole Challenge and a few days into it I could not longer be seen under ANY hashtag….My whole account was banned 😠Before that I was only blocked in hashtags if I had a still shot with a pole in view.

IG is still purging accounts…a few days ago they deleted a bunch of Meme accounts, my kids were like “there’s nothing in my feed now!” They no longer suspend accounts and seem to go right to deleting them.
And although they have given some of the pole hashtags back, they’re still preventing videos or photos with a still shot of a pole from being seen on non pole hashtags!

Great advice everyone and Charley YES! I wish more I instructors informed students of this. It’s soooooo hard to put a level on something 😠It’s insane that some studios call inverts beginner tho, unless you’re dealing with x gymnasts or performers pole for the masses means inverting may not even be needed! Don’t get too hung up on labels. 💜

When it comes to public videos for business like the lessons here or IG, FB and YT uploads I buy all my music. I honestly can’t believe some of the pole companies that use copyright music, they could get in sooooo much trouble. I like soundstripe for buying music, it’s not cheap but they have great stuff and I’m happy to support another business there to help artists!

All of the 30 day programs are total programs with tips and structured help to get you started. This includes telling you what warm ups to us, when to rest and stretch. They are workout programs to follow so you don’t have to think!
The beginner section is in order as far a progression but they are individual lessons so it’s up to the user to choose how often to us them, when to warm up and stretch along with remembering to have rest days. Lesson sections are just individual lessons in order that you can use however you like!

That’s awesome to see some of you moving over here! Though I wouldn’t expect people to totally leave IG as I know it’s a way for businesses to reach new clients that are not already into pole. But SV actually has a huge email reach and it’s a great way to stay connected with pole folks.
About videos, you can also favorite any video so it’s there for you to watch later! You can visit other people accounts and watch only their videos or select different video sections to look through like old Challenge videos.
SV is not an app so don’t be afraid to click on things to see where they take you 🙂
