I have a pole squat in the lesson videos the version with on leg is killer. Squats will give you a killer booty too!! Also the pole leg lifts they work the front of the thigh and hipflexers.
So good pole moves would be the split spin and straight leg chair. I’m in a rush so when I think of more I’ll add them. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_geek.gif

Yes ladies…its normal to get blisters. Doing a lot of spins will cause more blisters than inverts and holds. I had… well I should say still have clauses after having be off the pole for months my skin was really tender. Something that has helped soften the clauses is using a lot of hand lotion. NOT before you pole dance AFTER and thew out the day. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

Awww man that sucks. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_twisted.gif I never trust the stud finders. They wont work on plaster…theres too much other stuff up there for it to get a proper reading. I’ve put my poles in several different homes and I like the knock method. You need a latter to so you can easily reach the ceiling and simply knock on the ceiling until you here the tone change from hollow to solid!! So forget about that stud finder
PS the stud finder will not work on men! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_geek.gif

You can use the glasses as your prop if you want. Just be sure to write Studio Veena challenge in the title or tags so that everyone can find it. You can also write what the challenge was in the video description…..If you do that then I’ll post my vid!!!lol

Well my first ceiling was that height too…but it worked, Just wasn’t nearly as fun as my 12 ft pole I have now!!!!

The x pole cannot be used on a suspended ceiling…but its totally fine on hardwood floors https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif It will not damage ceilings either and is easy and fast to put up and take down. No screws either! I’m just over 5′ 7" myself! Sounds like you would have enough room upstairs. X pole is the best I love love love it!

There is a difference in technique for both…I began with static and feel spin is harder for ME. BUT those who learn on spin sometimes feel static is more of a challenge. Just breath deep and ignore. LOL
