You can download the app and use that too if you already pay on the site.
-
If you pay only for the app it’s access to the app ONLY. However, if you purchase the lessons on the website you ALSO have access to the app.

15 to 20 reps 2 to 4 sets….if you can’t do at least 12 with good form go lighter on the weight ðŸ˜

Sorry I missed this! I have a ton of more in depth training coming I wish it was ready to release!! For now I’ll tell you this….Shoulders are my week point along with wrists so I’ve done a lot of studying and training this past year and I sure can tell the difference!
Quick suggestions for now, make sure you’re avoiding the whole shoulders back and down when reaching far overhead…it’s a good cue when arms are at shoulder height or lower, but you need to let the scapula move fully up, making the space between the shoulder and ear smaller, not bigger, to avoid any pinching in the shoulder capsule. This positioning is best when doing moves like downward dog and handstands too!
I will make a quick video with my favorite exercise for shoulders and post it here sometime this week. You’ll want a very light exercise band and your pole or door.

Walking is something that is easy to do and make time for. If you struggle to maintain a workout schedule it’s a good way to create a habit!

I don’t compete but whenever I perform at a new venue and I think it might be cold I bring Cramer firm grip…it makes me stick like glue. https://www.amazon.com/Anti-Slip-Enhancer-Activities-Gymnastics-Enhancing/dp/B01KTLRNJU I pretty much always assume any pole that isn’t mine will have awful grip lol

Not all brass feel the same, I find my brass platinum stages has more grip than my brass xpole. Any grippy pole will be rough on hands for static spins. I’m a static lover and as far as hands go, powder coated is better on my hands than brass….but I love the overall grip of PS brass!

I still do spins on static. I will say that Powder coated and brass are finishes where I need grip aid the least. I love my Platinum stages brass finish so much!

Just click the link not the video player…not sure why YT players don’t always work. I had the same issues with grip until I started using that combo.

I’ve used gloves by mighty grip once and found it didn’t work for me, only because they didn’t stay in place well enough. Dry hands might help enough under the gloves, it’s worth a try. Just make sure you get the right size glove!

I have a ton of Kupmykakez…she doesn’t have tops but lots of legging and bottoms great for pole. I buy most of my tops as bikini’s from Target!!

I think the biggest thing to remember is to warm up both your body and pole…if you find you can’t grip often times it’s just that you need to warm up more. If you can’t grip because of sweat then investing in some antiperspirant grip aid can help a ton!
Also remember this is no “level” a dancer should be at in a certain time period. Pole can be beneficial at any level.

Have you tried this combo? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgvvc2uvcFw&t=118s
Also if the poles are cold steaming can help to warm and clean them right before poling https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RdjeYnLLaBw&t=5s
