Veena I will try to post a video soon after the holidays when I can figure out this new web cam https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif (yay got a new computer!!!) but I have noticed one thing…
certain spins annoy me or are harder than others and I think a lot of it is a tight shoulder situation. I have a lot of upper body strength but little if any flexibility in my shoulders. My shoulders are so tight that I can barely grasp my hands behind my back – barely.
This is something that definitely impacts my spins or more noticeably my one handed spins (or spins where one hand is in a stronger position than the other).
I am working on it with my physical therapist and Pilate’s instructor…
and you know…I might be a little close to the pole in my chair – I will check that out – once the turkey settles and I put my pole back up https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

double jointed https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif that makes more sense cause I was thinking my arm would snap if I even thought about trying that grip LOL

white, silver and bright colours that will pop against a black background…
have the pole moves you want to do picked out ahead of time and think about which outfit works best with that move…
also have a few pole *poses* that you can do – they are super easy and quick to do – like a pole bendover – but can also generate some great shots…
also bring and wear shoes https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif they really help with the lines and do wonderful things for the look of your legs!

I have the bombshell Betty dvd’s they are okay – she explains/teaches well and they are shot pretty well – she is cute and fun – but they are really boring..you could probably find stuff on You Tube that is the same and free…i wouldn’t spend the money…don’t think it’s really worth it.

They are actually fun…not so much dance oriented but more pole.
Monday night is the more advanced night of the 2. Tuesday night is fun though…teacher does a little more transitions and dance…she is not as strong on pole as the teacher for Monday night.
Both nights are pretty fun – I’m not mad at the classes…I can actually GET to class because they are later at night and they are FREE with my membership – which I love https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Hello…Nice to meet you…you sound like me LOL
I am 41 and in Encino…did S Factor for years, then went to Bespun for a bit…then took one or two classes at Xpolesitions and Pole Dance Allure.
Did one session at Polistic (the owner trained at S) and now I am doing classes at Crunch and popping into S Factor for Pure dance classes from time to time as well as Pole Dance Allure for some spinny pole classes LOL.
