I love silks – so pretty – I have been taking tissu lessons here and there but it is sooooooooo hard https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif I have also been taking aerial yoga – which is much easier but really great for getting good stretches in. There are lots of home aerial yoga units that you could look into online to maybe use as a starting point.
Also there are a bunch of aerial groups or circus groups on Facebook you could join for info.
plus here are a few links:

Oh Sissy – please be careful and feel better – go easy while you are healing.
* PS you have helped me realize I need to have my hubby put up and take down my PS pole – cause I have no clue what I am doing LOL.

My thoughts are if you feel old – then you act old and don’t do all of the fun things that keep your body and mind young.
Besides while maybe 50 seemed *old* when I was 15 – it’s sure doesn’t fit into my vocab as *old* now…talk to me at 75 https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

Actually Pleaser has a bunch of lace up versions that have the flat eyelet/holes for the laces and they don’t scratch up the pole or hurt your legs…I have 12 pairs of them I should know lol. Also the nice thing about the lace up boots is they have the zippers as well so you don’t continually have to lace them up…just tighten them every once in a while.

So funny that you posted this because I read it RIGHT after working on my back bends. It’s so annoying…all this stuff I could do in my sleep in High School and is now so damned hard LOL.
First I practice my bridges on the floor. Then I stand about 2 feet away from the wall with my back to the wall and walk my hands down as far as I can go into a back bend. I also use a Pilates Step Barrel as well as an Pilates Arc. The Cobra pose is great as well to work stretching your arch. Also make sure when working on your back bends that you have properly warmed up your wrists – rotate them and and make sure they are lubed up.

Hello…I’m in Encino!

I had an abdominal hysterectomy, tummy tuck and lipo all at the same time. The cut was a bikini cut and I probably had a longer healing time because of the other work I had done as well but I waited around 6 months to go back to any serious pole (ie inverting or anything more than a spin). I went back to light – very light lol aerobic activity (treadmill) after 3 months – I probably could have gone back a little sooner but I really wanted to be safe https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I just called about 15-20 minutes ago…but honestly…the woman I talked to was super busy/ditzy she could be wrong LOL
Last night I did a flight night at 10pm and I actually bought a pair of the new ones in LG in Black…the newer ones fit me better – they seem to have a little more lycra in them and aren’t as thin (I know a LOT of people who like the old better https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif ) but for 2.99 I would by all of the old ones in my size https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
If you are going over there let me know if they actually have any of the LG’s left – I know they don’t have any in Blackm, only XL cause I checked last night for me.
Also If you want me to – the studio is literally 5 minutes from my house and I can check after work…let me know.

That’s my location…I live in Encino…see my earlier post – they actually only have the old version in XL right now BUT they are only 2.99!
At least that’s what they said when I just called…who knows maybe you swooped in and bought up all the larges LOL
