when you do SM training– do yourself a favor and don’t begin it with your body vertical. start leaning backwards, with your shoulder perpendicular to the pole– the closer that yuor body is to horizontal, the easier it is.

Love the support everyone gives each other on here its fab, Amyxshi I can lift into basic invert without kicking, unless am knackered lol!

Solya I use a SM grip that is called respect grip on the pole junkies website. I SM using my right shoulder, so my right hand is cupped behind pole and left hand opposing so its able to pull me up, if that makes sense. I love all the pole moves… really do! Remember when you were a beginner watching somebody else doing a caterpillar, caterpillar climb or a side climb – perhaps on YouTube – and just thinking "oh my god that it is the craziest thing I’ve ever seen!!! lol does anyone go into a pole trance?? I do it all the time when im listening to my ipod ill sit and go into a little trance visualising moves and routines in my head https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif . Haaaa i thought i was the only one,iv been doing this for YEARS! im terrible. i can be walking down the street and end up totally blanking people i know by accident becuase im in a little pole day dream.! Thats a good idea, I had two ideas yesterday, thought I would share. I thought about doing jade legs with an arched back and both hands on the pole like in crescent moon, I call it jade arch, can’t do it though https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif also I thought about trying the Allegra from a side climb, tried it but couldn’t get there.
