They come to me wherever really and I have to remember and write em down when I get home, I do sometimes just sit and think, usually after some amazing inspiration from youtube and I also write down combo’s seen on you tube. I don’t know if these are helpful but vertical dance website has downloadable pages of moves from beginner to advanced.
http://www.verticaldance.com/beginnerpoledancemoves.htm
I also save a lot of pole move pics from wikipole or facebook pages and have em either on my computer in a pole folder or print em out. When you write down every move you can do its actually quite impressive!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cat.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cat.gif

It is possible to try it from ground, lay on floor belly down and scoot back towards ple so that it is inbetween your legs, then using yor weakest arm push off the ground, grip pole with strong arm, obviously squeeze the thighs hard! and then push your feet off floor behind you and see how it feels. It gets you used to the pain and where the pole sits while you are in this position. You could also try to get into superman from inverted pike, I am in the process of mastering superman and think this way is easier for me. See link for a good superman tutorial and the way of getting into superman from floor. Good luck with it xx https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cat.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cat.gif

I never take my x pole down except for when I moved house in December and boy did I have trouble with it, I thought I was going to have to saw it in half, luckily I did not come to that. My problem was the adjuster screw nut, a tip – keep it sat in the middle of the adjuster rod and not screwd down to the bottom. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cat.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cat.gif

I have always wondered what stage I am at and did think intermediate I can do all the moves Polebunny mentioned and some of the others mentioned by Foxy, I think that sholdermount, ayshas etc are out of my league at the moment, what a great thread I feel better about it now, just sometimes feel like am not progressing and I have been at intermediate for ages too, although I did randomly get the spinning chopper last week! I took lessons for a few months but there aren’t any by me now that can teach to my level they are all beginner stuff, so I am teaching myself off youtube too. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cat.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cat.gif
