There are many different hand grips for the shoulder mount also, the one she uses in the vid looks harder than the one I practise with (I too cannot shoulder mount yet) I try with my right shoulder against the pole and my right hand cupped behind the pole, then I put my left hand cupped in front of pole. This way you can use the left hand to help pull up slightly. Hope that makes sense. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cat.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cat.gif

Me too, I am rubbish this time of year, it takes forever to get properly warmed up, if I manage it at all. Frustrating, glad to hear its not just me, roll on the summer. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cat.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cat.gif

The pike is basically a pole sit but you hold both legs out in front of you, can be crossed at the ankle if you wish, you then move your body so that the pole is to the side of you and kind of bend forward and hug your legs. Does this make sense? Will try to find a vid xx https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cat.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cat.gif

I want to get a second pole also and am thinking 45mm chrome as I have the 50 mm already, I agree they both have their good points but if I had known how good a 45 mm was I would’ve got one from the start x
