Is that a one piece pole or is it two pieces that assembly together like an xpole or platinum?

It's more my body doesn't like to give blood. I've had this problem twice. Basically, soon as the needle goes in, my vein moves. When they finally locate my vein again and stick into it, there are tiny valves that close up to keep blood from flowing out. So I had two nurses have to push on my vein to get the blood to flow. And this doesn't last long, so they start moving the needle around slightly. I don't give blood anymore.

Fruit with a lot of water in them works out for me. Pineapple, apples, pears. To add a little protein I dip apples in a little natural peanut butter. Plus I got through about 3 bottles of water from the time I eat til the point I finish pole.

8 feet. Really wish it was higher.

@frenchhorndiva, thank you 🙂
Now, that I see it written out, it looks like so much lol. Doesn't feel like it when I'm doing it. It's definitely a ton more than class, which is just less than an hour of warm up/workout. I timed it. And half an hour of pole.
But I'm curious what everyone else is doing. What's your pole schedule? 🙂

roughly 7 1/2 feet is my stage. And my 50mm collapsable extends to 8. It's an apt, only goes to 8 feet unfortunately. I envy those with tall ceilings.

About two to three times per week. half hr. warm up, and 1 hr. pole practice/dance. In between that is mainly stretching.

Dirdy Birdy Anh Le, Jamilla, Vladimir Karachunov, VEENA! Suzy Q. Williams << She got me into pole, have to say her 🙂
I actually don't know too much about the pole world yet, especially names. I've been at this less than a year. At the moment, I just focus on moves rather than the pros. But appreciate them greatly.

I love how the people who have someone with them as they fall off the pole, don't actually help them. they gasp, put their hands over mouths and just stand there. HELP THEM! If you're gonna do doubles, whether you're professional or not, you are a spotter/support for the other person. I'm aware there's a state of shock, but seriously, just standing there or turning the camera off first should not be your first priority.
Just had to vent that.

Thank you. The muscle seems to be a bit better today. Walking is still a little awkward and stiff, but the pain is diminishing. 🙂

No real complaints. Thankfully, my manager likes me. I did accidentally break my ceiling with my pole. I was off by a few inches of the stud and the plate pushed in. They didn't get too upset. But did of course charge me for the repair.

I use WebMD to track my calories and how much I've burned. Unfortunately these things are never 100% accurate. The only way to really know is it like have some sort of internal monitor and I don't think thats possible. Ballpark would be between 250 to 350 per half hour. But really depends on how hard you're working. WebMD does have a selection for pole dancing! One for moderate effort and vigorous effort. Not entirely sure what the difference is other than moderate effort supposedly burns 250 per half hour, and vigorous effort is 350.
I've been going with moderate means pole dancing without actually doing any climbs or holds.
